I think tenure should be contingent on passing a skills exam periodically. And then when BS like this happens they should still be held accountable.
It would be one thing if they presented both sides but who am I kidding?

Mark Steyn column:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1611836/posts
"Go ahead, try it. In Michelle Malkin's book Invasion, she recounts the tale of two fellows who in August 2001 pulled into a 7-Eleven parking lot in Falls Church, Va., in search of fake ID from the illegal-alien assistance network that hangs around there. Luis Martinez-Flores, who'd been living here illegally since 1994, took them along to the local DMV, supplied them with a fake address and falsely certified they lived there. The very next day, the two guys returned with two pals of their own, and used their own brand-new state ID on which the ink was not yet dry to obtain in turn brand-new state ID for their buddies. A couple of weeks later, all four of them used their Virginia ID to board American Airlines Flight 77 at Dulles Airport and plowed it into the Pentagon."

"Treacherous journey...very dangerous"
The illegal would think twice about coming if ranchers were allowed to defend themselves and their property. Now that they can trespass, get a lawyer and sue shows that they laugh at our (in)justice system and will use it along with willing accomplices (scumbag lawyers & judges) to our own detriment.

afternoon folks....missed you all...
snowman, thanks for posting the threads...that paragraph from Steyn, is one of the most chilling comments that I have read.
Whatever happened to leaders that stand on principal? Leaders that understand what it means to defend this country without regard for the cancer of political correctness? Our leadership is failing us...so da*n disappointing.

Glad to see that Hannity has the guts to say it regarding illegals: The Dems are selling out for votes, and all the politicians; President, other Republicans AND Dems are all selling the rest of us out to the elite business people who profit from employing illegals.

snowman, thanks for posting the threads...that paragraph from Steyn, is one of the most chilling comments that I have read. No problem on thread building. If I have the time, I'll do it. heheheh Steyn's paraphrasing from Michelle Malkin's book just make me wonder why politicians ignore the obvious threats to our. Power is sure a corrupting influence.

We can't afford to alienate the illegals! We have to have their votes and open borders or the sky will fall.
Heaven forbid we do the right thing.

hiya RM...McCain's a jerk as a human being and a hack as a politician. It would be very, very hard indeed to pull the lever for him, no matter the opposition. In fact, if he is the candidate, perhaps we deserve what we get.
