afternoon folks....missed you all...

snowman, thanks for posting the threads...that paragraph from Steyn, is one of the most chilling comments that I have read.

Whatever happened to leaders that stand on principal? Leaders that understand what it means to defend this country without regard for the cancer of political correctness? Our leadership is failing us...so da*n disappointing.

Tell McLame to try corn detassling in July....he'd drop before he passed 5 stalks...

Problem with McInsane's offer...he'd be paying with a rubber check (ala Keating 5).

Glad to see that Hannity has the guts to say it regarding illegals: The Dems are selling out for votes, and all the politicians; President, other Republicans AND Dems are all selling the rest of us out to the elite business people who profit from employing illegals.

No problem on thread building. If I have the time, I'll do it. heheheh Steyn's paraphrasing from Michelle Malkin's book just make me wonder why politicians ignore the obvious threats to our. Power is sure a corrupting influence.

That must have been produced by some lame high school student. Dennis Leary has an "ASSHOLE" song that's at least funny and has a catchy tune.

We can't afford to alienate the illegals! We have to have their votes and open borders or the sky will fall.
Heaven forbid we do the right thing.

hiya RM...McCain's a jerk as a human being and a hack as a politician. It would be very, very hard indeed to pull the lever for him, no matter the opposition. In fact, if he is the candidate, perhaps we deserve what we get.

If McLoon is as good as the GOP is got, perhaps they should throw in the towell. We know the DUmocraps will still be putting up their bottom-of-the-barrel candidates since that's all that's left in their party.

it is high time that we stop blaming businesses and place the blame where it belongs, with Washington, DC. If DC turns it's back on the law of the land, and patently ignores the laws applying to illegal immigrants, why wouldn't a business employ an illegal? The law no longer applies.

It is time to hold the Washington Weasels accountable! THEY are the people forcing the INS to back off, regardless of who is "pressuring" them. If the Weasels refused to bow to pressure and the INS enforced the law, the problem is a moot.

Hi Sofaman, good to see you. I just would have a LOT harder time accepting Hillary(?) than McCain. He might be a jerk and he hasn't been right on some issues, but we DID this before when some of us went with Perot and look what we got. If she gets 4 years, she'll get 8, I'm telling you. I couldn't live with myself if I let that happen without doing everything I could to stop it.

A DUmocrat getting my vote has about the same chance as an iceberg in Tahiti. Pulling the lever for McLoon is same as voting for a DUmocrat....not going to happen.

Hey LL...got to see you too...honestly? I see no difference between Hillary and McCain...they're 2 sides of the same coin. So I look at it like this...I have to vote against Hillary, not for McCain. It's very hard to approach that with any kind of passion.

But one thing is for sure, there isn't a doubt in my mind that McCain gets his arse handed to him against Hillary.

Did any of you see the segment on Studio B with Shep Smith today?

It was about that "HUGE STORY" from WaPo about the trailers being known NOT to be for making WMDS, before Bush referenced them in a speech?

First of all...when he was promoing the segment, he mentioned "new evidence" regarding Saddam's WMDS...so my ears perked up, thinking he was going to talk about the documents...

Silly me>>>> Because when he came back, he started the segment saying that "everyone knows there were no WMDS in Iraq by now...so what about this story?"

He had on Lawrence Korb...YUCK...and Korb spouted the lib party line about how this is just another GOOD indication how wrong Bush was....blah, blah.

Shep asked him what Bush should do now...Korb said that "He should acknowledge what Condi Rice said a few weeks ago that there were 'thousands of mistakes made' (notice he didn't say tactical)...and Bush should 'own up to them once and for all'"..

Shep then asked why would the world trust us anymore re: Iran, after all of the wrong information about Iraq? Why would anyone trust President Bush to tell the truth?

Korb: "Well, we don't have to worry about that because Alhemziad(sp)...announced they have the uranium and what they want to do"

BUT, notice no mention of ANY of the documents that have been transcribed OR that Saddam DID have WMDS, and USED them...which is MORE reason, IMHO...that what Korb basically said was a slam dunk about Iran.

I am SEETHING about this...especially SHEP'S total REPORTING that we all KNOW there were never WMDs...
