Dear freepers
The Iraqi documents are revealing the truth about Saddam WMD, his relation to terrorism, and his crimes against humanity. These documents are proving that Saddam had always kept his WMD program reading and running in a secret way waiting the opportune moment to produce large stocks of them. Also Saddam not only had strong ties with terrorists but also his regime was recruiting individuals from the Iraqi military to launch terrorist suicide attacks against US interest.
Despite this smoking guns documents that prove that we right to go and remove Saddam regime, it seems that they are going unnoticed in most of the media except on FR, the blogsphere, the Weekly Standard, and few of our side Talk Radio Shows.
We should not expect the liberal media to embrace these documents and to be the first one to talk about it because just the few documents that we have seen already have shined the light of truth on their lies and the lies of liberals that they have been spewing for the last three years regarding Iraq and President Bush. However we should expect our side of the media, Talk Radio in particular, to be much more involved in spreading the truth and facts that these documents are revealing.
Thus we need to launch “Operation Get The Truth Out” to get the attention of our side of the media first and ask them to cover these very important Iraq documents. If you can please all help on this issue. We need to contact as many on our side of the media as we can and let the Truth Get Out, and once our side of the media start covering it, it will force the liberal media to talk about it as well, and hopefully our Republican politicians will talk about it too.

At a Murtha thing a returning and injured military man really chewed the old M out - said he was hurtin the war on Terrorism and all the men and women he knew would and are re-enlisting and are proud of the cause and what they are doing to fight terrorism. Said the only response the returning military got was a letter by the gov. or mayor of the state. That old M did not go over to see for himself --- gave M a good 'in you face' and Murtha's or the other one with M only response was - that was a statement not a question!!!!!

Don't have problem with H1Bs (do have problem with too many Americans being lawyers, and too few being engineers... but that's our failing). How many of 'em are here illegally?
Don't have problems with a guest worker program, IF the market shows a need. (Close the border and see what wages do...)
Do have a problem with illegals filling entry level jobs that teenagers should be filling (also might have a problem with teenagers, but I'll wait on that).
Do have a problem with illegals filling low skill jobs that our welfare cases need to fill (Have a problem with welfare, too...).
Do have a problem with hospitals going out of business, 'cause they MUST provide service, even if nobody pays.
Do have a problem with illegals filing for benefits - and the folks helpin' 'em.
Do have a problem with "Press or say one for English..."

I am not talking about controlling birth rates. I am not talking about who should or should not be allowed into the country. I do not view any immigrant as trash. I am talking about the burden created on our existing systems by an huge influx of people. If I am wrong on assuming that a huge influx of people into a country will cause strains on the underlying infrastructure of that country, then I apologize. But will our infrastructure support it? I do not think so without causing real living pains to those of us that currently live here. What about overwhelming our schools with many new kids? Our towns with more houses to be built? Our roads with many new cars? Our infrastructure is designed for certain growth rates.

an email I recd last week - a little satire
I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and
extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk
across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few
arrangements. I know you can help with this. I plan to skip all the legal
stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they
handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling
your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him
know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need,
whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English.
4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag
pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to
government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to
learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from
Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak
English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my
car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any
complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't
enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never
say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the
economy.
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for
all
the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres. Fox won't
mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Please re-read what I actually said. What you rant about above is EXACTLY what they Left does. They vote for Govt hand outs and convince themselves that "shows how much we care". It is the worse sort of callous indifference. Pusedo Compassion. This is the point I made you seem to be ignoring. The (Right) spends thousands more hours working for private charities and church out reach groups. The actually care for people as people, not as a reliable voting class keep in a substance level lifestyle to assure a tame voting block
Which is why Legal Immigration needs serious reform. Currently the system does one thing, make Lawyers rich. We should just build Ellis Island type processing centers on our border and accept as many applicates LEGAL immigration status as possible

Actually they are not. Violent crime stats are down to the lowest levels since 1968. We will never "Win" the war in the sense of eliminating drugs. We are signifinacntly reducing the most serious problems caused by drug use. That is winning.
They can make up for the 40 million of our own we aborted. Seems the "knuckle draggers" forget something. We have 4.7% Unemployment. Anything under 5% is full employment. Those illegals ARE filling jobs and helping grow our economy. That's economic reality no matter how many factoids about "Costs" the Anti Immigrant lobby manufactures
