I really hate getting stuck with traffic lights. It adds 2 minutes onto my five minute commute.

Gravity ruined flying cars. They'd never be practical and they'd be extremely dangerous. I dunno about you but American cars i've driven have a tendency to stall out after they get old. How'd you like to stall out at 500 ft, and die because Ford built a crappy car.

30 cups of coffee a day will probably take some sort of toll on his body as well.
LOL - his bladder, if nothing else.

Yikes ... I thought my 3 cups a day and 45-minute commute to Birmingham were stretching it. You would think with 30 cups of coffee a day, the guy has to be spending his whole day drinking and peeing. I doubt he can make the trip without one bathroom break.

I'd like to know what brand of car this guy drives, so I can buy stock. He probably has to get a new vehicle every year.
372 miles X 5 days a week X 50 weeks a year = 93,000 miles per year.

Well. My new job involves a two-stoplight, one-mile commute; if traffic is light I can make it to work in about 140 seconds (both stoplights are right turns). Heavy traffic gets the time up near four minutes.

Dude, where's my flying car?
To: nickcarraway
What a fool.
If he really wants to live where he lives and work where he works, he should buy an old cessna and cut about 4+ hours from his commute time every day.
Let's see, 50 weeks x 20 hours a week saved = 1000 hours more time a year he'd have with his family.
Either he must hate his family or he's an idiot.

hopped a plane to LAX on Monday mornings - we live near the beach in San Francisco; Sunday starting about 5pm you can see the Lear Jets going north and south all night.

My reaction, too! He is cruising for a heart attack. They say that 4-6 cups a day is too much, 30 is probably doing permanent damage.

When does he ever get to see his "scenic" home? It is dark when he leaves and dark when he gets home. He could live closer and then go to Yosemite every weekend. I thought my 2 hour roundtrip commute was bad. Yes, he could. This kind of living arrangement is common from what I see. Usually, in situations like this, the worker will spring $500 per month to rent a room to stay at 3 or 4 nights a week. This guy is an idiot.

An old fashioned wooden crate of empty coke bottles would do the trick. Of course, car pooling might be out of the question.

Can't dudes just pee in a bottle and keep driving?

I used to have a job where my job commute consisted of literally 2 steps from the bed to the desk..
