I think its pretty obvious that lives of other than rich people dont mean much to Ted Kennedy.

Whether its the one life he took away from a poor girl who made a bad decision to be a party girl to politicians, or the thousands , maybe millions of lives that were lost when we pulled out of Viet nam .

I dont know how this sock sucker sleeps at night.

On second thought I do know how he sleeps at night. Besotted with alcohol. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest his crotch.

"The normally persistent Russert never challenged Kennedy's incredible assertion.."
tim - the ONLY man in America whose father ever taught him anything- is a liberal puke. I think he hannity has gotten on to timmie. I have not heard his drivel on hannity's show lately.

One of the great liberal myths of the century continues on in what is left of his mind.

Don't get me started, Teddy boy!

To Kennedy, everyone deserves the same respect for life as he gave Mary Joe Kopechne.

"How does the left get so good at rewriting history? Honestly..."

They control academia which means they control what is written in textbooks.

They control the media so they control the message.

They control the infrastructure/unions so they control what actually gets out to the media.

The Democrats use the Soviet style of governing. What you cannot control, you destroy.

With Russert and Kennedy, as with all liberals, history begins when they wake up in the morning.

They must rewrite history, or they would get no votes, the ignorant are their constituents.

I think, in JFK's case, you could make that "backbone" comment literally as well as figuratively!!!

I do not have a single good word to say about this man, I don’t need to say anything bad either.

Kennedy has been a destructive Leftist fool and enemy of the Republic his entire life and career.

Folks expect the enemy to look like some creature from the lost lagoon — however; most look “respectable and human” like Kennedy, Clinton, McCain, Reid, Durban, etc, etc.....

I never observed an NVA/VC corpse or prisoner who looked dangerous or a threat...
They appeared as "normal" in every observable respect.
It was their ACTIONS prior to becoming a corpse that made them dangerous and a threat.

Such an enemy was Kennedy....
One day - I hope the entire nation can see the scope of his betrayals...

There will be months of media blast telling us of all the wonderful works of Kennedy -— with hardly a mention of the devastation his positions have cause abroad and at home...
Kennedy was CORRECT to scoff at the 100,000 deaths if we abandoned Vietnam.... The actual toll was approximately 10x higher....and encouraged subsequent enemies of America -- both external and internal.

Making the figures worse — is that those killed by the Communists were our allies, including many Catholics... The devastation wrought on our loyal ethnic hill people allies, was the most heartbreaking.
Many fought on for decades after we abandoned them..

* Rummel
o Vietnamese democide: 1,040,000 (1975-87)
+ Executions: 100,000
+ Camp Deaths: 95,000
+ Forced Labor: 48,000
+ Democides in Cambodia: 460,000
+ Democides in Laos: 87,000
+ Boat People: 500,000 deaths (50% not blamed on the Vietnamese govt.)
* ANALYSIS: I'd say the most likely total would be 430,000. That's 65,000 executions + 165,000 camp deaths + 200,000 boat people. It's unlikely that VN alone caused 460+87T democides in Cambodia + Laos since estimates of the total deaths in these conflicts only run to a half million or so.

A lot of people here, including myself, can’t say what they want to about a certain current topic. I will say though, I really, really, like your tag line.
