I always listen to Ollie. But I admit to having Laura in my other ear and change focus as required...

I don't know how much y'all are into terrorism mysteries (books) but I just discovered one that is really good. Terror at Black Canyon, about terrorists attempting to infiltrate and attack oil production facilities in Colorado... so far really good:

(not a referral link)

It's like a Tom Clancy novel in the business/oil world.. really cool...

That's probably what I'm going to do. I'm just listening to North and then I'm going to go to my local station.

I don't expect to agree with everything a talk show host says. If that was the case I wouldn't listen to anyone. However, I have a problem with hosts with overblown egos (like O'Reilly, Savage, Gibson, etc.) Just can't bring myself to listen to them. The judge fits into that group. These fast talking know-it-all types really have nothing to offer. I guess they are just Rush wannabees. They would do themselves some good if they would listen to Rush and try to learn something. Even Ingraham with her ego seems to have at least learned that a well produced show can overcome an egotistical blowhard host.

If you guys want to hear some good conservative no nonsense talk radio try listening to WJR overnight. It's a trucking show that's on from 1-5 AM. When they are not doing trucking talk they do politics. The hosts are both conservative and make lots of sense. They also actually listen to their callers.

I'm off to finish some carpentry in my kitchen. If I don't manage to get back everybody have a great weekend.

was a combination sleeping anti-nausia pill.

I stand corrected. Now I'm hearing he's claiming to have taken both.

But here's the thing. Who would take a sleeping pill before he had to drive home...I mean to the Capitol for a vote? LOL!!!!!

AMBIEN CR works very quickly. You should only take AMBIEN CR right before going to bed and are ready to go to sleep.

Ever hear of the "don't operate heavy machinery caveat for sleeping pills?

I don't care that much about getting or not getting bin Laden.

Bin Laden primary function these days is to give Democrats a reason to declare failure.

That's usually my hang. There's something to be said for them to replace Tony's show with Laura's.

But it cuts out so often I'm listening to WTNT here in DC. Great tunes during commercials!

Hey Judge

Not only did Joan have a drinking problem

But Patches and his siblings took her to court because of it and had her put away because she tried to sell her house

Is that right, though, almost $12 for a 115 page book?

March 26, 2000:

A videotape captures Kennedy pushing a 58-year-old airport security guard backward and bumping the metal detector archway at Los Angeles International Airport. The catalyst apparently was that his luggage was too big for carry-on and he was disturbed the guard did not recognize him.

What is it with Kennedys and cars? Maybe they should be kept out of them without their chauffeurs...

To: LibertyLee; All

Thanks.

Good luck on your To Do list. Hope you have a lovely Sunday. :-)

My movie review:

United 93 was even better in the second viewing. I was able to think about the dramatic elements and more of an underlying message, rather than just being hurtled through a 'documentary.' It is a well made and well thought-out film.

A heart breaking aspect of seeing it this time was to watch my daughter with tears running down her face as she saw the reality of what we are facing. While we on FR have been searching for info and comparing notes for the last 5 years, there are plenty of people out there who have been living their lives and are shocked and surprised as they see this evil face-to-face for the first time.

I wish I would have thought of this possibility to prepare her (and to prepare myself for her reaction) before we went. We've had plenty of conversations in our family about all this since 9/11, but none of my kids have sat at screens absorbing the facts, the horror, the hatred that was unleashed that day.

This movie will change many people's views of Bush and the WOT, I think. It is a movie that people will watch several times in order to absorb all of the timelines and details.

See you all on Monday. Tony's first day as Press Secretary! :-)

Have great weekends! :-)
