I had to Laff that our first night was a tornado warning L0L
Prolly made for memories for our Mainer friends
That pupski would be related to Mr. Phudderson?

Puppy be Mojo's kidlet and Mojo is Phudd's brother, right?
If so, that's a Highland hunting dog.
Aye, she is that.
Does that mean she needs to be available for hunts? Good excuse to find a way back down there :D
Sure wish I got more vacation time.
After we gathered up at Laurenmarlowes place for a quick rest, introductions and some planing, we went for lunch.
We then proceded down country roads headed for the folksy towns around Austin.
The night there was something else!
After dinner we were treated to a massive thunderstorm with rain, hail, lightning, and flooding. Wow, wasn't that fun y'all?
I got completly soaked escorting the gals to their respective rooms. We did manage to get on FR for a while:

We watched continuous news coverage as the storm passed over many areas.
The next morning it was a beautiful day and we peeked our heads out the door and smiled:

After meeting up with Trussell & kids we went for Brunch and some shop'n. (T, I know ya got some pics of the kids with Chance!)
We got into Austin late Afternoon and rested a bit before the Big Dinner out.
After LUV W ironed my shirt, we were ready to roll!
We had dinner at the Iron Cactus, In the N. Austin area.
The table was already reserved, but not long enough for us,
so they gave us the unreserved loft area that was semi-private and gave the kids some area ta wrastle around in, which was very nice of the place! I would like to thank everyone that attended our get together (& my birthday), It was a great time having y'all together!

Mr. Phudd was awesome according to all the things I heard about him while I was there. I'm pleased to have his niece as a member of my home.

Phudd and that bull got into a staring contest.
Phudd won and the bull left our camp. Yes, was right in our camp. Phudd had enough and ran him off.
It was surreal to watch in person.
Wished Id have seen that!
What a good dog...I hope Gizzy shows as much courage if she is ever called to.
Thanks for sharing those wonderful pictures, Big Brother! They all bring back wonderful memories. I only wish that we didn't have to wait a whole year to see one another again.
I would even do more ironing if I needed to! LOL! (He's just putting that in there 'cause he knows how "undomestic" I really am!)
Don't worry, Big Brother, I already have started saving! What I had left over from this one plus all my bonuses for next year will be saved for our next big trek. And I am ready to be navigator once again if you'll have me! (((hugs)))
