Your posting literally gives me the chills!

I probably need an update on Hep A. again.

Not to sound any alarms, but I wonder if any people have ever bothered to look around to see who's doing the cooking in restaurants? I know I have, and I prefer to cook at home.

"There are no specific medicines to cure infection with hepatitis A. Most people require no treatment except to relieve symptoms.

"If you have been exposed to someone who is infected with HAV, there is a treatment that may prevent you from becoming infected. It is called immune globulin and is more likely to be effective when given within 2 weeks of exposure."

I've been trying to inform people about the diseases being brought into this country by Illegals.

Where did you go the medical school?

It was bad, both students had advanced stages of TB. Coughing up blood and everything. Most of the students in the class tested positive and were given antibiotics, free of course. Every body was cured thanks to the quick res ponce of the local health department. But it should never happened.

What a terrible situation!

At least Lou Dobbs touched on the subject of the diseases being brought in by foreigners on this evening's broadcast. He interviewed a female Neurosurgeon from CT who told of a serious TB case she had treated, and of course, the hospital picked up the tab.

The talk in Iowa regarding the mumps outbreak is that it started at one of the colleges in Dubuque, and is attributed to poor attentiveness to student immunization requirements and records. Also, the first case is rumored to have gotten to Iowa by a student who traveled to the U.K.

All rumor, but that's all I've heard because the public health people refuse to share the information.

A course of antibiotics for TB is nothing like taking them for strep throat or a simple bladder infection. It is a 9 month long course of treatment and the drugs are much nastier than amoxicillin or something like that. TB drugs have numerous unpleasant side effects. I feel very sorry for the students placed in that situation.

Yep, this happened a couple of years ago. The department of health guy stated on the news that people exposed would be on antibiotics for months.

Athlete's foot on the face, yeah that's the ticket. I thought that was something only Dick Morris would get.

Isn't that the truth!

Even most products of guvmint schools, i. e., public schools can read and comprehend the English language.

Thanks for this information:-)

I've done some research on the CDC website today.

Yaaay! I have had all the Adult Immunizations the CDC recommends, but maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to find out if I need another Hep A---just in case.

"CDC considers Texas for Morgellons study"
Web Posted: 07/25/2006 12:50 AM CDT

Deborah Knapp
KENS 5 Eyewitness News

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is launching a study of Morgellons disease that may target South Texas where more than 100 people are suffering from the illness.

Cindy Casey suffers from Morgellons. Symptoms of the disease include lesions that leave scars, the sensation of bugs crawling under the skin, and fibers that pop out of the skin.

"Mostly black and white. Some of them were blue, and some of them were red. The whole area gets really sore and you feel some sort of crawling sensation around the lesion," Casey said.

Like others, Casey was diagnosed with delusional parasitosis — delusions of parasites. Most doctors do not recognize Morgellons as a disease.

However, one medical school is taking Morgellons very seriously. Most of the research on Morgellons is being done at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa. Doctors and scientists at OSU said this disease is real, and it's frightening.

"I am 100 percent convinced that Morgellons is a real disease pathology," said Dr. Randy Wymore, an assistant professor of pharmacology and physiology at OSU."
