They call themselves peaceful, saying they abhor violence and war. They gatecrash and disrupt hearings, fundraisers and other events, shouting that it is their constitutional right to do so; but woe unto those who dare to speak out against them.
Code Pink and its leaders are violent. They physically attack counter-demonstrators, they destroy other people's property. Code Pink's leaders Medea Benjamin, Gael Murphy and Allison Yorra all participated in the violence on this day.
Here is just a small part of the video we shot of their "peace demonstration" on May 18, 2006 at the home of U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

The Patriot Guard is non-confrontational. They serve to shield the families of the Fallen from the likes of the Phelps gang.
It's rare that the Code Pink leaders get prosecuted. However one, Diane Wilson, just completed a few months' stretch in Texas. Most of the time they either aren't charged or are given a minor charge that is dismissed in court.
I don't attend protests due to my short fuse and short temper. Yes, they have a right to be Anti-American and I have the right to serve ten life sentences for "correcting" them. ;-)
