Please be in prayer for our LadyX. She will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning(5/24/06). Any of you who know LadyX, know that she has been a member of our FR Family for a long time and is very much loved and respected. She has inspired us, made us laugh, given us some of the wisest of advice, wowed us with tales of her life in the Marines, and shared her childhood memories of an idealic time. Some will recall the sailing of the Mobius, or the time on the tropical island. We have shared many adventures. Now, it's time to let her know how much she is loved.

Post your prayers, encouragements, jokes, pictures or memories, so she will have them to read when she gets back home.

Okay, LadyX, it looks like you'll have to leave the SOPAC Saloon and Fern Bar for a while tomorrow morning, but you'll be expected back tomorrow night for the torch song sing-along. Hopefully your hula skirt will still fit, but nobody will mind if it doesn't.:D

All old jokes aside, you're going to do fine, LadyX, and please report back to us ASAP because you're the finest of the fine.

Sharing

You’ve shared your courage, your faith, and your lore,
And so now we would like to return them once more,
They’re a little bit battered, and scratched here and there,
But we all got together just to show you we care.

We thought one of the ways we could show what you mean,
Would be giving you back things we got from you, clean!
So we gathered them up. There was oh so much stuff,
But you’d given it first. We can’t thank you enough!

Now as I looked around to make sure of the count,
The thought came to me, ‘That is quite an amount!’
We’ve taken, and borrowed, and used you a lot,
Why I can’t recall any time you forgot,

To be patient, and helpful, and to cheer us all up,
As if you had a job giving love in a cup.
So we bring you this hoard we’ve been keeping a while,
And we’ll only depart with one more pleasant smile,

If that’s not too much asking and taking and all,
For we realize now, what you took was so small.
You had borrowed my ear for some timely advice,
(And I’m sorry that you then had to tell me it twice.)

And you took our complaints and you turned them around,
Just to show us what miracles our lives had found.
You’ve been like a mother for many a year,
We just want to remind you, we need you right here!

The Lord may have need of your services soon,
But we’re hoping He’ll grant us one teensy wee boon,
Let us keep you around for a little while more,

Dear God,

Please guide the hands of the doctors as they operate on Lady X. Give them and the staff knowldege to assist her that wich is beyond any human understanding. Let her have pain only so that she will know her limitations. Give her the peace that passes all understanding.
