yes but his is not the largest of the three tombstones at the Xavier school for gifted yoots.
ps: six thumbs down for xmen3 (12 if you let us vote chicago style)
totally blah and only a special effect vehicle.
That said: the movie isn't very good.
I'm beginning to question the integrity of the media...
I've loved every Pixar movie, with the most recent, "The Incredibles," being my favorite. But the cute cars were leaving me cold, so I had low expectations. But... the initial reviews seem very positive, so I'm holding out hope.
What about Ice Age?
in xmen III the first casualty was the story.
If you want to see it wait for the dvd, when it is discounted.
Don't bother with the theater "experience."
in another note.
of ALL the trailers I saw before x men, there were only two which were mildly interesting. (ghost rider and somehting with jet li) The rest were pure pablum.
The ex girlfirnd is a (codependent psycho)superhero movie is such chickflick barfaroo that it is hard that any male with intact testicles will be seen anywhere near it. Definitly NOT a date movie. Seems the whole movie begining to end is in the trailer too. (somebody got PAID for that idea?) Uma's career must be on the skids.
the superman trailer looked like a dud, it also looked like they jumped the shark with lois as a single mom still in the script.
I fully expect hollywood to LITERALLY eventually make a movie out of "springtime for hitler" because they have tried every other form of script.
I think cars is not going to be that great because they have been hawking the products already.
Hopefully the new Pixar deal means Increadibles II: Die PC Die
Have you ever watched squirrels? I'd say the animated characters are pretty much right on.
Well different strokes..
Frankly of the 3, this on was the best. Story didn't drag like II or I.... folks want to wait for it on DVD their perogative.
Seems that from the Box Office numbers folks seem to have enjoyed it as well.
If you want an action flick, XIII is worth the $$$... Marvel based action movies have had some real stinkers.... Fantastic 4 for instance, The Hulk... but X3 is worth the cost of admission for an action flick based on a comic book.
Pixar movies are great with the exception of Toy Story 2.. that one was a stinker.. made money, but a stinker of a story.... and now that Disney has bought Pixar you can bet Toy Story 3 is coming and it will be even more aweful.
I am saddened that Pixar sold itself to Disney. I see Disney just overmarketing and beating to death great movies with endless and horrible sequels.... its only a matter of time before direct to video, crappy animated sequels to all of Pixars great movies are on the shelf at Kmart...
Agreed! Dull, dark, and dreary. No spiritual light whatsoever.
Yes, according to Time, "Toy Story III" is on the way, following after "Ratatouille," a story about a Parisian mouse.
TS II was definately the worst Pixar Movie ever... story was incredibly weak and obviously thrown together just to make some $$$.
Why would anyone pay money to see a movie more than once???
I can't think of a time in my life that I spent money to go to the theater to see a movie I'd already seen.. other than when I've gone to the drive through to see movie A, and a movie I already have seen was the second flick of the double feature.
What about Ice Age?
No caffeine involved in the Ice Age squirrel--just a manic desire for acorns.
Its not a great second week but its not bad considering the terrible reviews - Here are the five worst.
1 Undiscovered $676,048 -86.4%
2 Gigli $3,753,518 -81.9%
3 Bad Moon $607,081 -81.5%
4 Return to the Blue Lagoon $1,277,428 -80.8%
5 Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace $1,428,658 -79.8%

Da Vinci is not among the 300 worst. only six movies in history have actually gone up the second week following a major release like DaVinci (#000+ theaters)
Agreed--hence the boundless hilarity of squirrels ramped up a couple of notches by caffeine.
I got squirrels romping merrily around the park outside my office. I'm tempted to take a saucer of coffee over there, set it out, and watch the consequent fun.
People saw Titanic many many times........
