While Hoodwink was a weaker overall movie, the tweeked out squirrel in that movie was way funnier IMHO.
It also looks like they're going to follow the theme from the first Superman, and use a "Christ" analogy. "I have sent them you, my only begotten son." Of course, I do have to admit that the original Superman had the plus of having possibly the dorkiest sequence in the entire history of movies, when Superman took Lois Lane flying.
Just as a side note, I thought in X-men that Rogue was a lot hotter than Jean Grey. There's something sexy about a gal that can kill you just by kissing you. Probably why I thought Poison Ivy was hotter than Batgirl. I also never believed the stuff about Batman being gay until I saw George Clooney and Chris O'Donnell play the parts. Shouldn't Robin have arms bigger than a twelve-year old girl?
Titanic is great if you fast-forward through any scene with Leonardo or Kate in it.
Especially in the Uncanny X-Men comics books.

It's funny that you say this because when my husband and I were watching the preview, I caught the part where Jor El says something to the effect... "you will be a light to the world".
I turned to my husband, grimacing. Only Christ is the true light.
Sigh.
Even in early incarnations, I thought there was something Nietzsche about Superman, and that the character name choice was not a coincidence. Of course, super heros get remade by different writers and artists all the time, but the Christ analogy is impossible to ignore in the new movies.
Under the terms of the deal Jobs will take a Disney board seat. Pixar President Ed Catmull will serve as president of the new Pixar and Disney animation studios. Pixar's creative lead, John Lasseter will be chief creative officer of the animation studios, and will also be an adviser in the design of new attractions for Disney theme parks around the world. Lasseter will report directly to Disney CEO Bob Iger.
Plus, as a result of the transaction, Steve Jobs becomes the largest holder of Disney stock to the tune of $3.9 billion dollars in shares (6.3% of outstanding stock).
That said, rumors are that after Lassiter had canceled Disney's "Toy Story 3" just after the merger, they have now begun to consider doing to movie but with a whole new story line and an all Pixar production team. So, if it does get done, it will be done right.
I know folks have been trying to spin Pixar being sucked up by Disney as a good thing, but I just don't buy it. Pixars greatness has been its attention to stories, sure they are all digially animated, but with the soul exception of TS2 in my opinion the stories have been great in unique an distinctive universes all their own.
There are only so many films like that that can be made a year... Disney hasn't produced a "great" film in a a long long time.. but has become really good at pumping out cheap crap leveraging its classic characters.
I think the folks from Pixar will quickly get mired down in disney's never ending perpetually producing lots of crap direct to video, with one or two mediocre animated films a year, plus pressure for more than 1 digital film per year, either to theaters or direct to video.
Disney will not stop the Eisener effect, just because folks from PIXAR are now in the company.. The lure of easy money is just too much for the company to realize its undercut its domination of animation and seriously harmed its long term reputation by bastardizing its collection(s)...
PIXAR was a great company, but I don't think that the same output will continue long term with them being in the belly of the beast.
Second: (as stated above) Pixar is in complete control of Disney's animation division with their own President as the new President of Disney animation and Lasseter himself as the chief creative officer plus Steve Jobs is not only a board member but Disney's largest and therefore most powerful shareholder. The likelihood of Disney corrupting Pixar is remote at best.

Apparently, the original story ends differently, but that doesn't suit this *agenda*.
Actually, I liked Hoodwinked better than Hedge overall, but I do agree that Twitchy is a lot funnier than the squirrel in Hedge. Though I have to admit that that hyperspeed moment when Hammy strolls casually through a world that seems, from his point of view, to have frozen, is pretty dang funny.
I said the "EISNER EFFECT" they are still marching quite lockstep to his plans to this day.
We shall see... 1 board member does not a coup de tat make. The board is still mostly the same board that brought us such stinkers as (NAME ANY DISNEY MOVIE) II, Hunchback.. and nothing better than mediocirty since Beauty and the Beast.
