IN A paddy-lined valley in the far north of Japan is a municipal signpost inscribed: Tomb of Christ: next left.
Follow the winding path up into the forest and there, sure enough, is a simple mound with a large wooden cross labelled as the grave of Jesus. Nearby is a tomb commemorating Isukiri, Christs brother, Must have come in handy with schoolyard bullies: "You kick my *** and my big brother'll damn you to hell!"
Kurosawa 3:16: "And Jesus did laugh scornfully at Satan, His lips out of synch with His words, and reproached Satan that his kung fu was weak."

Christ arrived in Japan at the age of 21 and learnt Japanese before returning to Judaea 12 years later to engage in his mission and preach about the holy land of Japan. There is nothing so weird that somewhere someone is not making a buck off it.

Well His body had to eventually turn up somewhere since it was not in His original tomb for long.

This cant be right! There was an article on FR last week that definitively stated that moved to Kashmir, that he lived in the house in which his living descendants reside to this day! Have these families met?

Screw Japan and the Japanese Jesus. Remember Pearl Harbor! Are you suggesting that we forget about Pearl Harbor and thousands of WWII Japanaese atrocities in the interest of your maintaining your cognitive dissonace about the USS LIBERTY incident.

Kurosawa 3:16: "And Jesus did laugh scornfully at Satan, His lips out of synch with His words, and reproached Satan that his kung fu was weak."That one should go in the Slings and Arrows funny comments hall of fame. If there's no such thing, there should be.

I'm suggesting that it's silly to bring up Pearl Harbor on an unrelated thread, as silly as it is to bring up the Liberty on a thread concerning NATO naval exercises.

I've got a couple of coins with his wife's picture on them somewhere around here; BTW nobody pays any attention to that Naugahyde guy, but don't spread it around, he's real sensitive...

That one should go in the Slings and Arrows funny comments hall of fame. If there's no such thing, there should be. There isn't, but you're welcome to start one. I'd do it myself, but I'm biased.
P.S. Thanks!
To: Slings and Arrows
Well, what irritates me most about that comment is that I didn't think of it first.
