The Director of Public Prosecutions, as district attorneys are known in the U.K., promptly ordered his arrest on the charge of "sending offensive materials through the mails." The policy then dragged the 75-year-old Catholic, who is nearly crippled with arthritis, from his home and held him in prison until his court date. Progress in Europe bump.

Letters from Americans on the subject will go directly into the "stupid Yanks" file. In just the same way Americans loved receiving voting advice from Guardian readers.

Amazing what offends todays world isn't it. A Godless nation is fine they say. The mention of GOD in government offends them. The act of abortion the murder of unborn life is fine they say. The act of showing how barbaric and cruel the practice is however is offensive. The teaching of a Saviour on a cross is offensive they say. But making motion pictures showing Him being done is such a cruel way draws box office hits.
Common sense and history of man tells me what a GODLESS nation and world becomes. I have no need of pictures to understand how barbaric abortion is although I do agree some need to see such pictures so they do understand. I don't watch movies in general about The Cross. Common sense tells me what happened and the physical horror then the mental one of a father turning his back on his SON because of evil.

Imprisonment for showing pictures of a "legal" medical procedure.
If it was any other medical procedure would the same persecution/prosecution taken place?
Will this one day happen in America?

Upon receiving the pictures, Ruth May complained to the authorities. Why? If you believe all the pro-aborts, this man sent her photos of a beautiful expression of human freedom and caring. It shouldn't have been any more disturbing than watching a bunch of new citizens getting sworn in.

It seems to me Florida is about LESS GOVERNMENT REGULATION.
What you say is that any sane person has numerous reasons to wear a helmet, let logic dictate, not the government.
To: 308MBR
The seat belt issue is tied to federal funds for highways.
I will wear the seat belt if I'm a passenger in any vehicle but as a driver I don't.
