Dems Irked Over Zarqawi's Death
NewsMax.com ^ | June 8, 2006 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 06/08/2006 6:15:55 AM PDT by Carl/NewsMax

Grassroots Democrats weighing in on several popular liberal web sites Thursday morning said that they were troubled by reports that al Qaeda's top operational terrorist, Abu Musab al Zarqawi, had been killed in a U.S. air strike.

Reacting to the news, one visitor to the Daily Kos complained that using military force to kill Zarqawi "violates everything my America stands for."

"It violates the rule of law and invokes the rule of force in what should be a criminal, not a military, matter."

Another Daily Kos'er was irked because he thought the news would benefit President Bush:

"No doubt Karl Rove will have the Sock Puppet President acting as if he personally dropped the bomb that killed that jackass," he wrote. "But other than a couple of photo ops of Bush looking cocky, it does nothing because two more tin-plated Zarqawi's will pop up."

A third Kos poster suggested that there was little difference between the top al Qaeda terrorist and the leader of the free world, writing: "Now [that] we are rid of one murderous tyrant - how about the removal of another one-believed hiding in a safe-house at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?"

Over at the Democratic Underground, reaction to news of Zarqawi's death was also negative:

"Convenient too that this would happen now," complained one DU'er: "Guess we should just all forget about that Haditha mess, the fact that we are approaching 2,500 dead and the fact that our economy is in big trouble."

Another DU poster said that killing the al Qaeda chief really wasn't such a big deal, insisting: "Zarqawi was a fringe group of al Qaeda, and definitely NOT responsible for the bulk of the insurgency and civil war now occurring in Iraq. Any gains that they hope to receive will be short-lived when reality strikes home."

INTERESTING STRATEGY from DAILY KOS:

Zarqawi was quite probably a psy ops job in the first place, so what does that make his "death"?

Keep your eyes on the prize:

Gay marriage?
Haditha.

Flag burning?
Haditha!

Brangelina?
HADITHA!

Zarqawi?
HADITHA!!!

"Seems they have now sided openly with the terrorists."

O.K., it's time for the CIA and FBI to tap their phone lines.

"GET AN F#$%ING LIFE. This man is not a criminal he's a terrorist, what part of terrorist don't you people understand."

You have to understand that most Liberals have the same mind set as the guy that took his girlfriend out to live amoungst the Grizzlies. They just think that connecting on a higher level will transend any difference in culture, species, etc. Think about it. Or, maybe Liberals just hate humans, sort of like PETA. So when they find someone else who also hates humans, they latch on and try to make friends. Only very few get eaten alive on camera, so they continue believing that their cause is a good one. In reality, they are brain damaged.

"It violates the rule of law and invokes the rule of force in what should be a criminal, not a military, matter."

This guy doesn't just live a sheltered life. He's from an alternate universe.

Of course, this is the result of eight years of the klinton regime, where the greatest power in the universe is a smart judge, and a crooked lawyer. With Fort Marcy Park as a backup, of course.

This clown just doesn't realize that sometimes justice is served with a bullet or bomb, and not a subpoena.

This display from Kos and other Dem lefty sites, should appear in every candidate's advertizing as the Nov. elections near. No one in his or her right mind could ever trust one of these Dem Quislings as open to defend our borders, our national security or our military.

Just imagine if the Internet was around during the Holacaust....what they would be saying about the Nazi's and Hitler.

Something to think about...

Hell...think about what they would say and do today after Pearl Harbour if the net had been around then.

"It violates the rule of law and invokes the rule of force in what should be a criminal, not a military, matter."

Yep, the Dem mindset in a nutshell. Clinton treated al Qaeda as a law enforcement problem as well. And we got 9/11 as a result.
