HPV Vaccine—Another Deception of the Culture of Death

HPV Vaccine—Another Deception of the Culture of Death

The big news recently is that the FDA has just approved a new vaccine supposedly to inoculate women against cervical cancer. Predictably, the media and health professionals are touting this as the greatest thing since the Salk vaccine, but they are also engaging in a propaganda campaign aimed at distorting the public’s perception of it. I for one will stand against what I consider this newest marriage of the culture of death with junk science, and I believe we all should. In the next few weeks I intend to examine a number of aspects of this Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine for the benefit of parents who may some day be coerced into getting their kids vaccinated with it.

Let me start by pointing out a few basic elements of this vaccine and its service as a tool of the culture of death. First of all, did you ever wonder why all of a sudden we need a vaccine for just one sexually transmitted disease? Just to give you a little perspective: in the nineteen sixties, before the advent of the birth control pill and other forms of abortion-causing drugs, there were only three sexually transmitted diseases which at that time were known as venereal diseases, a name derived from Venus, the pagan goddess of sexual promiscuity. Because of the exponential increase in illicit sexual activity in the past four decades, the number of distinct sexually transmitted diseases has risen to over thirty, not to mention the multiple strains of the distinct diseases. The Human Papilloma Virus, for example, is just one sexually transmitted disease, but it has over 100 different strains! Only a small number of these strains actually lead to cancer and most of its victims don’t know they have it and cure themselves over time.

Now, to put it into even clearer perspective: the much-touted HPV vaccine treats only two strains of HPV and two strains of genital warts. This is a tour-de-force against HPV isn’t it?

The most wretched hypocrisy of the promoters of this vaccine, however, is that, rather than calling it a vaccine against a couple strains of one of the dozens of sexually transmitted diseases, they are calling it a vaccine against cervical cancer. Well, it will certainly protect some women from cervical cancer in the future but that’s not the point. The point is that there are overwhelming numbers of diseases, strains and even cancers that this vaccine does not protect from, all of which are gotten by the very same sexual act. Thinking that this vaccine gives blanket protection against cervical cancer (which of course is how it’s perceived because that is how it’s being promoted) is like believing that thirty people jumping out of the same airplane will all be protected because one of them is wearing a parachute.

This HPV vaccine, my friends, is a classic case of the culture of death playing fast and loose with people’s lives. They use junk science to hook our terribly un-reflective culture on a promise that will benefit only a miniscule portion of the population, and then the false perception of security surrounding their newest ruse hooks everyone else into behaviors and lifestyles that perpetuate the damage and decay our decency.

Don’t fall for it because pretty soon they will be forcing you—and your kids—to drink their potions to the dregs.

It's actually almost comical (or pathetic) - the same people who want less government in most areas are all for letting a bureaucracy (and corporations) decide the health and sometimes fate of their children.

Uh huh, just keep your phrase in mind when you climb into your car, whose design and safety features are regulated by government, right after you strap your child into their car seat, whose design and safety features are regulated by government, and drive to the grocery store to buy food, whose design and safety features are regulated by government.

The Rev. is being more than a little disingenuous.

The Human Papilloma Virus, for example, is just one sexually transmitted disease, but it has over 100 different strains! Only a small number of these strains actually lead to cancer and most of its victims don’t know they have it and cure themselves over time.

13 strains of HPV are cancer-causing agents, the remaining 87 are not.

Now, to put it into even clearer perspective: the much-touted HPV vaccine treats only two strains of HPV and two strains of genital warts. This is a tour-de-force against HPV isn’t it?

That depends greatly on your definition of "tour de force". The vaccine protects women against strains 16 and 18 of the HPV which account for 70% of the incidences of cervical cancer. In addition, the vaccine also targets strains 6 and 11 which are the most common cause of genital warts.

Friends, if I offered you a chance to protect your daughter from cervical cancer 70% of the time and eliminate the chance of your son or daughter getting genital warts, wouldn't you take it?

HPV Vaccine—Another Deception of the Culture of Death

What I find odd is that the proponents of the vaccine feel the possible preventive cure is a worthy enough cause to discuss and promote YET discussion of preventing the method of transmission, abstinence, is not a worthy enough cause to promote?

Much like the message of HIV/AIDS safe sex crowd that promotes "safe" anal sex...

Then as an adult you have the right to decide to inject yourself with the chemicals and preservative and forms of the diseases you're trying to avoid contacting. And if you believe it will protect you from everything you could come into contact with, I hope that is true for you.

There are very few places on the web where a vaccine against 4 strains of known cancer causing virus would be considered a "bad thing".

Sad that FR is one of them...

"...YET discussion of preventing the method of transmission, abstinence, is not a worthy enough cause to promote?"

They still have sex. Promote abstinence by all means. It is the only way to prevent many problems, but one must deal with the realities of life that some kids, many kids are going to have intercourse without considering anything else except hormones.

You have John Paul II's picture on your profile. Want to call him a caveman as well?

What is sad is that some people will rely on junk science and put their children at risk... And then if this child becomes disabled or die, then they will scream against the doctors who all the time were telling them that they were wrong...

But some vaccines are made using aborted babies. He would have been against the use of those.

Do you have a problem with vaccines for measles, mumps, etc. being given before a child enters public school too?

I agree! I know I'm preaching to the choir but an excellent website on vaccines is..... www.drtenpenny.com

She has a set of videos complete with excellent research and dozens of scientists, experts etc talking about the dangers of most vaccines.

LOL!

Look, folks here believe in stuff with a lot flimsier evidence....

Considering the number of Hep patients I've been around, plus one active case of polio a long time ago....I believe the vaccines work.

Oh, just for fun....go to the cemetary and check the numbers of children's headstones from 1900 until today....and see the difference in the numbers each decade.

This information is crucial. Please review it all.

HA! HA! HA! Followed by a spam list of no less than 20 links. You've got moxie, I'll grant you that.

The thread seems to be devolving from one about the HPV vaccine to vaccines in general, and is attracting the 'vaccines are evil' set.

As long as most people are vaccinated, the few who don't can feel superior in their choice, because the rest of us protect them from the disease. They benefit now from the earlier success of the vaccine. I suppose it's like a pendulum swing... Because the disease is largely eradicated, people begin to fear the vaccine more than the disease. If the disease returns, the pendulum swings back.

Prepare to be flamed. Alot of people on FR place their trust in vaccinations and it offends them greatly that you don't vaccinate as "one of the herd".

Vaccines have saved millions of lives over the past century, and even prevented deaths in centuries previous to this one. George Washington himself ordered the general vaccination of his troops against smallpox, and as a result his army suffered a much lower rate of smallpox-related deaths than the British did.

Not using such a tried and tested method of protecting oneself and one's children against deadly disease is foolish, and worse it provides a pool that such diseases can survive in while in a mostly vaccinated society.

So, yeah, here's a flame for you and for justche for being so frigging ignorant and foolishly stubborn.

My daughters almost died of a respiratory virus (RSV) that does not have a vaccine. Doctors and researchers are trying to get a vaccine for RSV, but so far they have only come up with treatments.

RSV is the leading cause of death of babies in our country.

One of my daughters has brain damage as a result.

When they find a vaccine for RSV, I will be celebrating.

I'm sure the people that had polio are happy there is a vaccine.

Grant it, people need to weigh the risks vs benefits of vaccines. For example, a family that has autism may not want to get vaccinated because the vaccine could be an extra risk factor. (Not proven)

Kids that have seizures also are at greater risk of huge side effects from certain vaccines.

Vaccines are definitely good, but parents have to be educated about them.

I could be mean and say that Big Loons won't be producing any more Baby Loons. But that's mean.

I remember the polio epidemic....and I remember when the vaccine came out....

And I remember seeing people walking for MILES down dusty country roads with their children to get it......those images are still with me.
