HPV VaccineAnother Deception of the Culture of Death
The big news recently is that the FDA has just approved a new vaccine supposedly to inoculate women against cervical cancer. Predictably, the media and health professionals are touting this as the greatest thing since the Salk vaccine, but they are also engaging in a propaganda campaign aimed at distorting the publics perception of it. I for one will stand against what I consider this newest marriage of the culture of death with junk science, and I believe we all should. In the next few weeks I intend to examine a number of aspects of this Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine for the benefit of parents who may some day be coerced into getting their kids vaccinated with it.
Let me start by pointing out a few basic elements of this vaccine and its service as a tool of the culture of death. First of all, did you ever wonder why all of a sudden we need a vaccine for just one sexually transmitted disease? Just to give you a little perspective: in the nineteen sixties, before the advent of the birth control pill and other forms of abortion-causing drugs, there were only three sexually transmitted diseases which at that time were known as venereal diseases, a name derived from Venus, the pagan goddess of sexual promiscuity. Because of the exponential increase in illicit sexual activity in the past four decades, the number of distinct sexually transmitted diseases has risen to over thirty, not to mention the multiple strains of the distinct diseases. The Human Papilloma Virus, for example, is just one sexually transmitted disease, but it has over 100 different strains! Only a small number of these strains actually lead to cancer and most of its victims dont know they have it and cure themselves over time.
Now, to put it into even clearer perspective: the much-touted HPV vaccine treats only two strains of HPV and two strains of genital warts. This is a tour-de-force against HPV isnt it?
The most wretched hypocrisy of the promoters of this vaccine, however, is that, rather than calling it a vaccine against a couple strains of one of the dozens of sexually transmitted diseases, they are calling it a vaccine against cervical cancer. Well, it will certainly protect some women from cervical cancer in the future but thats not the point. The point is that there are overwhelming numbers of diseases, strains and even cancers that this vaccine does not protect from, all of which are gotten by the very same sexual act. Thinking that this vaccine gives blanket protection against cervical cancer (which of course is how its perceived because that is how its being promoted) is like believing that thirty people jumping out of the same airplane will all be protected because one of them is wearing a parachute.
This HPV vaccine, my friends, is a classic case of the culture of death playing fast and loose with peoples lives. They use junk science to hook our terribly un-reflective culture on a promise that will benefit only a miniscule portion of the population, and then the false perception of security surrounding their newest ruse hooks everyone else into behaviors and lifestyles that perpetuate the damage and decay our decency.
Dont fall for it because pretty soon they will be forcing youand your kidsto drink their potions to the dregs.
While in college, Fr. Euteneuer participated in the Marine Corps Officer Candidate Program, attended boot camp at Quantico, Virginia and graduated at the top of his Company. After discerning that the Lord was calling him to the priesthood rather than the military, he entered the seminary. After his ordination in 1988, Fr. Euteneuer served as a parish priest in five parishes of the Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida, secretary to the diocesan bishop, director of vocations, and spiritual moderator for the diocesan Respect Life Office.
Culture-of-death ping!
"May"? This guy must be an optimist, there is no doubt this will be mandatory with jail time for parents who refuse.
So people will have more sex if they have the vaccine? I doubt it.
Uh, that wasn't the main point. The main point is the false advertising of this vaccine.
Nah, can't happen; the 'conservatives' are in power in both houses, SCOTUS and POTUS. We're safe from liberalism. /sarcasm
So do I... And I find it scandalous that anybody calls this vaccine the product of a culture of death... I won't say what they deserve!
Boy the bull ate a lot of alfalfa yesterday.
"May"? This guy must be an optimist, there is no doubt this will be mandatory with jail time for parents who refuse.
______________
We chose to not vaccinate at all. Never been threatened with jail time. The peditrician asks if we want vaccinations, and knows I'll say no and that's the end of the conversation. While I'll homeschool my daughter, where we live - we have both philosophical and religious exemptions available to use for going to school.
This cervical cancer vac also only lasts for 7 years I believe. It's a crock, but the sheeple will fall for it.
"We chose to not vaccinate at all."
Prepare to be flamed. Alot of people on FR place their trust in vaccinations and it offends them greatly that you don't vaccinate as "one of the herd".
So you put other people's children at risk?
Nothing to be proud about... Again what you deserve I won't mention, but you'll get it!
Oh, please! This sounds like a worthy vaccine-- parents can take it or leave it. I am against mandatory anything, but I don't recall any of my daughter's vaccinations being mandatory-- it was always a choice.
Any vaccine only covers select strains. This vaccine is no different. They include the most prevalent strains at the time. Considering many women contract HPV from their spouse, don't even know they contracted it, and the husband didn't even know he had it in the first place, I think the vaccine is a good idea. It's not a license to have promiscuous sex. It's just a good idea. And given the reality of our situation, I think it is a step in the right direction. I certainly don't want it forced on anyone, though.
It only took one post. ;-)
Well some are mandatory for school attendance... Especially vaccines against measles, polio, pertussis and rubelle...
Why should you be allowed put other people's children at risk?
I think it's always a good idea to have a vaccine available. If people have more sex (which I seriously doubt is going to happen) because of the vaccine, then so be it.
(which of course is how its perceived because that is how its being promoted)
I don't know any more about this than what I've heard on the news. The perception I got was the truth -- it stops several strains of a sexually transmitted virus that are the main cause of cervical cancer.
Furthermore, the guy's an ignoramus who can't do simple research:
a name derived from Venus, the pagan goddess of sexual promiscuity
Venus was the goddess of love and beauty, not promiscuity. In fact, she was associated protection against vice (specifically, adultry and inchastity) and promotion of motherhood and domestic duties.
This is risible... And dangerous...
I am all for vaccines, and I really couldn't care less what a father says about them... This guy is a real menace!
