Rev. Thomas J. Euteneuer ( EYE-ten-our) became president of Human Life International in December of 2000. Human Life International is the world’s largest pro-life organization with affiliate offices and associates in seventy-five countries around the world. In five years of service to this unique mission Fr. Euteneuer has traveled more than 500,000 miles as a pro-life missionary and visited more than forty countries. Fr. Euteneuer was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1962, the fourth of seven children born to Joseph and Marian Euteneuer. He has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana as well as a Licentiate degree in Biblical Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy. He is fluent in Spanish.

While in college, Fr. Euteneuer participated in the Marine Corps Officer Candidate Program, attended boot camp at Quantico, Virginia and graduated at the top of his Company. After discerning that the Lord was calling him to the priesthood rather than the military, he entered the seminary. After his ordination in 1988, Fr. Euteneuer served as a parish priest in five parishes of the Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida, secretary to the diocesan bishop, director of vocations, and spiritual moderator for the diocesan Respect Life Office.

We chose to not vaccinate at all. Never been threatened with jail time. The peditrician asks if we want vaccinations, and knows I'll say no and that's the end of the conversation. While I'll homeschool my daughter, where we live - we have both philosophical and religious exemptions available to use for going to school.

This cervical cancer vac also only lasts for 7 years I believe. It's a crock, but the sheeple will fall for it.

Prepare to be flamed. Alot of people on FR place their trust in vaccinations and it offends them greatly that you don't vaccinate as "one of the herd".

Oh, please! This sounds like a worthy vaccine-- parents can take it or leave it. I am against mandatory anything, but I don't recall any of my daughter's vaccinations being mandatory-- it was always a choice.

Perhaps not. But people will have casual intercourse more carelessly, thinking, incorrectly, that they're now protected against a potentially deadly disease that they were very likely to contract. It has been estimated that up to 1/3 of sexually active women have HPV

Just look at what happened to the rate of HIV infection after the advent of the "cocktail" treatments allowed victims to live longer and almost normal lives. It started going up again.

Any vaccine only covers select strains. This vaccine is no different. They include the most prevalent strains at the time. Considering many women contract HPV from their spouse, don't even know they contracted it, and the husband didn't even know he had it in the first place, I think the vaccine is a good idea. It's not a license to have promiscuous sex. It's just a good idea. And given the reality of our situation, I think it is a step in the right direction. I certainly don't want it forced on anyone, though.

The vaccine itself is not a "product of the Culture of Death." It is being promoted by the Culture of Death as a quick-fix for HPV. It's not--and people will probably die thinking that it is.

Why should you be allowed put other people's children at risk?

I think it's always a good idea to have a vaccine available. If people have more sex (which I seriously doubt is going to happen) because of the vaccine, then so be it.

Talk about defeat from the jaws of victory. He doesn't care about how many lives this may save, he only cares about how it applies to his agenda.

I don't know any more about this than what I've heard on the news. The perception I got was the truth -- it stops several strains of a sexually transmitted virus that are the main cause of cervical cancer.

Furthermore, the guy's an ignoramus who can't do simple research:

Venus was the goddess of love and beauty, not promiscuity. In fact, she was associated protection against vice (specifically, adultry and inchastity) and promotion of motherhood and domestic duties.

I am all for vaccines, and I really couldn't care less what a father says about them... This guy is a real menace!
