We really must get rid of that pesky 1st Amendment. It interferes with the rights of a Republican Governor to fire an evil deviant christian who expresses his personal view off duty.

"Sexual deviancy" is the correct terminology, unless one thinks homosexuality is the norm, of course.

Correct.

Deviance: (opposite of conformity). Any behaviour or physical appearance that departs from norms (established standards of behaviour) of the group

My brother is a cop and was working plain clothes, they got assigned to a park that was known for gay sex after hours. He said, until then he never realized how deviant gays were. I know people will say hetero's can be just as bad but he said the things they came upon were beyond comprehension.

My less ideological homosexual friends will admit the deviancy in what they do, the hardcore revel in it.

Homosexuals are the new protected class, don't you know. How much longer will God tolerate this? I don't know, but it doesn't bode well for the USA. God wouldn't be just if He let us get away with it after He burnt Sodom and Gomorrah down to the bedrock for the same thing.

Way to show some leadership, Bob. Nice defense of the First Amendment.

BTW... Homosexuals are sexual deviants. When two people of the same gender can have sex and concieve a child, then I'll retract my previous statement.

Don't hold your breath waiting... I won't.

In an interview last night, Smith criticized Ehrlich for bowing to public pressure.

"At this juncture, I assume that the confrontation that arose today and the heat it generated was too much to take in an election year," he said.

"I'm disappointed that the governor's office kind of reacted with dispatch to a groundswell of press criticism without contacting me."

Bob Ehrlich is a RINO. And yeah, speaking out against the Gay Lobby can be hazardous to your public career. Do I believe gays live an immoral and unhealthy lifestyle? Absolutely - on here I can say it without fear. Working for the State Of Maryland, saying the same thing would get me fired in short order. RINOs and liberals are intolerant of people who do not are not moral relativists on matters of lifestyle choice.

Metro officials said that unlike their employees, board members are not covered by the organization's anti-discrimination policy. Still, the transit authority's interim general manager, Dan Tangherlini, issued a letter to Metro's 10,000 employees last night reassuring them that the organization is committed to "fair and equal treatment of all employees."

"I want to take this opportunity to re-affirm to all WMATA employees that discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated," he wrote.

Unless you are a Christian or conservative.

"Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. fired one of his appointees to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority yesterday after the board member asserted on a local cable talk show that homosexuals lived a life of "sexual deviancy.""

The truth hurts now doesn't it. Amen.

I read a article by a lesbian preacher that claimed that God did not burn Sodom and Gomorrah to the ground killing all the deviants. He did it because the were greedy and not tolerant and compassionate. Amen.

I'll bet he also fires public officials who claim that nighttime is dark.

It's odd how modernists believe that you can change the truth by simply claiming it is not the truth.

Shalom.

unless one thinks homosexuality is the norm, of course.

There is no definition of "normal" which homosexuality would fit.

A large number of the population aren't homosexual, so it's not normal that way.

The body is not designed to reproduce via homosexual sex, so it's not normal that way.

Most people have to be taught to not have a negative reaction to it so it's not normal that way.

When people claim homosexuality is "normal" what they really mean is there's nothing wrong with it. That's not the same thing at all. There's nothing wrong with walking around with pancakes on your head, but it's not normal.

But, of course, if they decided to discuss whether or not there were something wrong with it then they would be admitting the notion of right and wrong into the discussion, which is precisely what they do NOT want to do.

Shalom.
