- The Washington Post reported that Iran's foreign minister said the government likely would suggest amendments to a Western package of incentives.

Interesting information at the link. Of course Italy will have a new view but can't we count on more from Canada and Germany with their changed in leadership?
Yossef Bodansky's basic theme in him seminal book: The Secret History of the Iraq War was that the West lost the war because we did not make it a regional war to include Iran and Syria. I don't think we are going to be able to effectively destroy radical islamic jihad unless we have regime change removing the syrian baathists and the shiite theocratic totalitarians.
An agreement over nukes just prolongs the final stage of this conflict. It postphones the inevitable.
