I think regardless of what proof was presented of WMD's the anti-war, anti-American groups and MSM would still spin it their way.
The President has always stood by his convictions,which means he never allows public opinion to sway him. There were many reasons to go to war but it all boils down to WOT!
There is a lot of undisputable proof of WMD yet those that are anti-war refuse to acknowledge them. Perhaps instead of us having a good PR the problem is that those opposed had a much better PR right from the start. They swayed public opinion from day one and what should have been a counter attack was to bring up Clinton's involvement with and lack of fighting WOT which would put them on the defensive. The anti-war goups strategy appears to be to keep the Administration on the defensive which isn't a place of strength.
This is being ignored by the news. Bush needs to do something else or Santorum need to get the word out again. They will not report this. Bastards.

The liberals then say they are degraded weapons and are no threat, so they really aren't WMDs.
My responses is that the reason fro the UN Sanctions were to find and destroy all of Iraq's WMDs and the onus was on Iraq to do so. 500 degraded shells filled with nerve agents are still extremely lethal from all I have read and heard. It would be great to hear from someone who can verify this.

True, Saddam lied, but these are not the weapons we said were there, new production. The White House has announced these are all pre 1991. I think it's significant, but the media will ignore it, and it will not illustrate how wrong the left is.

I don't understand the DOD response at all. If the Whitehouse or DOD buries this story, Bush's numbers will go down with his base(people like me) again. I don't understand why the WH does not fight back on this issue?!

Hey, maybe the libs won't mind a few of those "degraded" weapons being shipped directly to their offices in DC. I mean, since they are 'no threat' as they say.
It's hard to know which group is worse for humanity, the DIMS or the terrorists! Getting harder to tell them apart, too.

Rick at The Real Ugly American has an update with an explanation of the reason the Bush administration kept this quiet:
General Tom Mcinerney is reporting on Fox Hannity and Colmes right now that that the administration has been keeping this low profile to avoid exposing 3 of the 5 members of the UN Security council; Russia, China, and France. McInerney says these weapons will be traced to these countries, and asserts it is well known that Russia helped Saddam move most of his WMD stockpiles out of Iraq before the war.
