Oooooh .. breathtaking!! It could be Freeport, GBI .. I lived there years ago
for 3 yrs. Beaches off the beaten path were deserted and gorgeous,
tall pines and dunes in the background, transparent tuquoise waters, we'd build
a fire on the beach, he'd go spear a grouper, grab a conch and we'd
have conch salad and fry up the grouper. It was a natural feast with melted butter...
so fresh, it tasted like just like fluffy white lobster.

I wanna go too ... whaaaa.

GRAPEFRUIT TRUFFLE* (Kirchhoff) 27" L Re Ex Fr Ev 6". This is a lovely, Naples yellow double -RHS Color
Chart Chip, 11A - with faint rose tints and a yellow to green throat. There is a beveled midrib with light peach
shadings on the outer whorl of the 3" wide petals. An early morningopener and formed in perfect petaloid style.
The blooms are huge, and measure four and a half inches from the throat to the top of the raised midribs of
the petaloids. Bloom texture is creped and diamond dusted. Substance and color are sunfast. The recurrent
scapes exhibit three way branching and 15 - 18 buds. 99% double. (LEMON BERRY TRUFFLE X
LEMON CREAM TRUFFLE).

I knew it was Grand Cayman .. just heavenly. It does look like the more deserted beaches in Freeport too.

I actually really and truly resent any true-blue veteran's treatment who gets shafted by the the VA. And I've worked behind the scenes to help true vets. And yet they don't get their benefits at the most they are entitled to. EVERYTHINNG is at www.hadit.com (permission granted by TBird). It's all in talk threads.

Years ago - as if some don't know - many of us met up at another place. Some of us still talk behind-the-scenes.

You know what - it truly disgusts me, that some here trash me - and know what I do to to help TRUE vets.

I'm sure it's a lot different now then it was 30 yrs. ago. It was such an pioneer, undeveloped town just before I got there, that when the locals heard a plane approaching the airport, they'd drive their cars down there lickety split and shine their lights on the runway .. there were NO lights and NO terminal.

Parts of it were lovely .. other parts, not so appealing then.. but I did get a beautiful Bahamian baby boy. LOL .. my oldest son, the doc, is a Bahamian by birth. Hoping one day we can figure out if there's a way to capitalize on that.
