Finally, talking in terms that we can all understand and letting them know that we are dead serious. I love it. Way to go George!

Oh my, he said the "s" word. Women are fainting, milk is curdling, babies cry, and liberals weep. When asked about it, Vice President Cheney said, "Big Time."

What a big fuss about nothing. Would have been more fun if he'd repeated Reagan's "The bombing begins in five minutes" LOL.

It was not a swear, not even remotely close. Real swearing would have shorted the microphone and zapped the amplifier.

I don't think he gave a $#*& whether there was an open microphone nearby or not.

The question is obviously slanted. The poll question SHOULD be: "Do you agree with President Bush?"

But we can't have that, can we?

I wish President Bush had been overheard saying: "Iran is going to get their nuke a little sooner than they had expected! Heheheee"

How childish. This poll is like the grade school prissy telling the teacher; "He said a dirty word!"

Yeah, this is the old George W. Bush we came to know and love after 9/11. Where's he been for the past 4 or so years?

Regardless, it would have had a bigger effect if it was in different terms. As in "we're going to bomb the $h!t out of hezbollah!"

It's the old "leak by open mike." Tried and true.

President Bush said today "Hezbollah must stop doing this bleep"

I was out of touch all weekend, so this is news to me.

using a barnyard epithet

Not just plain ol' "sh*t" but, actual Texas "b*llsh*t," eh?

I voted "no" because I think that he's got more respect for his office to publicly do so. I, personally, see nothing wrong with any adult using language like that when appropriate (and it is here, IMHO).

That being said, now that the cat's out of the bag, I don't think that he cares. Who, in fact, really does - except those looking for any excuse to try to make him look bad (which will backfire here)?
