Two of the most liberal Republican Senators, Chafee and DeWine are in deep, deep doo-doo. This is based on this Congress's votes only. Ousted rat-wannabe Schwarz had a score of 58.

Demonrat McKinney had a 7.

Liberman had a 12.

You have no idea how nice that sounds. America may thank the 8,000 or so of us who did that to him.

I find some problems with your list. Looking at only the Senators, you seem to be using lifetime ratings for some, and 2005 ratings for others. For example, Lincoln Chafee has a 12 for 2005, and a 37 lifetime, and you have him down as a 12. Conversely, Arlen Specter has a 63 for 2005 and a 45 lifetime, and you have down as a 45. Also, why isn't Norm Coleman (R-MN) (64 for 2005) on your list of liberal Republicans, and why isn't Ken Salazar (D-CO) (32 for 2005) on your list of conservative Democrats? This is just with one quick glance...I wouldn't be surprised to find more mistakes.

Make that 33,144 of us. I was only looking at the votes in my county.

Likewise, where is Dick Lugar, whom everyone on this site seems to despise.

Good catch. Probably inadvertent by the author, but I was questioning some of these, too.

Byrd is considered to be one of the most conservative Democrats? And more conservative than Nelson!? Where is the evidence that backs that up? Byrd votes far more liberal than Nelson in Nebraska, and Nelson actually supports the tax cuts, the war, and opposes partial birth abortion and voted for all but ONE of Bush's judicial appointments; supporting Roberts AND Alito, a nd opposed the weak Senate border bill. There is no way Byrd is the most conservative Democrat Senator.

I missed Nelson when I looked at it. Now it makes sense seein that. :) But I don't know how Landrieu made it either. She's quite liberal and against all things Conservative and part of the generational Democrat corruption that is Louisiana politics.

Well, if there's a silver lining to a strong Democratic performance in November, it's that we'll get rid of a heck of a lot of RINOs. From your list, the following are facing serious challenges:

20 Shays CT
40 Johnson CT
48 Simmons CT
60 Fitzpatrick PA
61 Shaw FL
67 Gerlach PA
70 Weldon PA
71 Bradley NH

44 McInnis CO retired two years ago (and is therefore not in trouble)

71 Kolbe AZ is retiring (but may be replaced by a Dim)

71 Bass NJ -- doesn't exist. Maybe you're thinking of Bass from NH? That RINO is also in trouble.

Anyway, that's most of your list.

"44 McInnis CO"

Dangus, this is an error on the ACU's part. McInnis retired in the previous Congress and this is actually 'Rat John Salazar's ACU rating.

Landrieu has moved rightward over the past year. With Katrina running many of her usual New Orleans voters out of the state, she's scared that she might not have as many big city machine voters bussed in to save her in the next election. Even so, the rat still voted against Alito.

I thought the data for McInnis seemed strange; I didn't remember him retiring, but I certainly didn't remember him being so liberal... I'm actually kinda glad to know that Salazar is moderate... too bad his brother isn't, but if his brother was that moderate, he'd be more conservative than the Republican caucus. >:^[

... The Bass of NJ mistake is mine... It's a simple typo from compiling the data...

...I'm aware Kolbe is retiring, and also that Shays, Johnson, and Simmons are in huge trouble...

Byrd is more conservative than the Nelson of Florida, and much more liberal than Nelson of Nebraska.

Oops... I didn't see this later posting. Landrieu is quite liberal, but there are almost no moderates left in the Democratic caucus: Joe "too-conservative-to-trust" Lieberman is a lockstep liberal.

Lugar may have made the list in years gone past. There are disappearing moderates. The most liberal (Chafee, DeWine, Collins, Snowe) have gone outright liberal, and the less liberal (such as Lugar) have become fairly reliable conservatives.

JINOs? What do they have to do there?

Ya mean like Gene "Gentiles-can-be-named-Green,-too" Green? Lisa "You're=thinking-Mikulski" Murkowski? John "But-I-Changed-Even-My-Name-Until-I-Realized-Jewish-was-cool" Kohn-Kerry? Al "What-kind-of-Jew-is-a-D'Amato" D'Amato? Joe "I-Guess-Saturday-isn't-Sabbath-after-all" Lieberman? Herb "Good-thing-I'm-not-named-Walmart" Kohl? Gordon "They-don't-freeze-Gefilte-fish" Smith? Cynthia "I-must-be-part-Jewish-on-my-grandmother's-side-because-my-hero-adolf-was-even-if-I'm-Black,-Mooslime-loving-girl-with-an-Irish-name" McKinney?

I mean this:

"I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan." -- Revelation 2:9

"Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." -- Revelation 3:9

Hmmm... I never connected those verses to anything modern, but after reading about Bishop Jakes' corporate "Christian" parties, I realize something...

The churches which are the most heretical (Mormon), greedy (AME Zion), paranoid/isolationist (7th Day Adventist) are the ones which most like to identify themselves with being the Jews of Revelations. I had a girlfriend who went to an insanely anti-Catholic, black church (let's just say she stuck out) which was pathetically exploitative, where they actually worshipped the gods of Shadrack, Mischack, and Abednego. (The pastor even thought it was funny to call himself "Ol' bad nigguh".)

The damned fools didn't realize that Shadrack, Mischack and Abednego were BABYLONIAN DEMON-GODS!!! At the time, I hadn't known it either, but I had a urgent spiritual sense to rebuke Satan rather than join in.

["The chief (Babylonian) chamberlain changed their names, Daniel to Belteshazzar, Hannaniah to Shadrack, Mishael to Mischack, and Azariah to Abednego (Daniel 1:7)..."]

(to be clear, the preacher had said, "the god of shadrack, the god of Mischack, and the god of Obednego," not as if they were three different gods, although they were.)

Interesting, but the so-called 'Jews' mentioned in the Revelation of Jesus Christ are, in fact, those with Jewish heritage who have become anti-God. Recall the scripture refers to "synagogues", not churches. Left-wing, Marxist Jews fit the anti-God mold.

As far as Democrats are concerned, the terms "conservative" and "moderate" are only useful in a relative sense, comparing the person to the outer space looneys in charge of the party.
