[the ground. I'm hard pressed to find anything of that sort this past week at the UN, as we flirted with our good friends, the French.]
Politicians lose wars and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, the French are very adept at this, is seems.
And I understand that they take pleausure in smelling bad as well as surrendering and stealing also.
Socialist nations are weak and dastardly as they are ungodly and unjust and materialistic.
"We surrender", says the french politicians, even before the enemy shoots at them. What a foolish nation they are, why should Israel trust they lying and thieving fools?

Good point. I'm not a real music officianado. I know what sound I like and based my comments on that.
Thanks.

That's a reasoned view. I don't share it because this war has been conducted different than other Israeli wars. They didn't jump out of the starting gate and smash their opposition from day one.
That's easy for me to say, so I do accept that my opinion may be less than accurate. From what I have seen, I'm not the only person who has this opinion.
What comes out of Israel after this period is going to pretty much reveal the truth of this. I suspect Olmert's days are numbered. I suspect the military is exasperated by his moves.
Thanks for the comments.

Now that I remember, the Six Days War did have an unofficial theme song:
Jerusalem of Gold.
