Vote for McBride in the primary. Harris can't win.

You mean the Kid who marched with illegals? The trial, excuse me...IMMIGRATION LAWYER? ROFL!

Let's face it; Harris is a disaster as a candidate.

Take her out in the primary then and stop complaining.

I'm not complaining, simply making an observation. The lady can't even keep a campaign staff together.

I'm not a Harris basher. But I've noticed that most of her supporters have gone 'round the bend.

25%? How did she get that many voters on her side? ;)

McBride lost some staff too. Where was your criticism of him?

Harris is getting the Lieberman treatment from the RNC and conservatives. It's BS what's happening to her.

Why do people dislike Harris so much? The woman has won all of her elections, she's a rock-ribbed conservative and she's a sitting Congresswoman. Her opponents who filed at the last minute to run against Harris? One is a 71-year-old former Democrat. The other one is a 62-year-old lifelong bureaucrat. The 3rd one is a 33-year-old attorney with ZERO political experience. I mean, voters couldn't tell the difference between him or the other McBride who lost to Jeb in 2002. C'mon now!

So, do you think Florida can become competitive if, say, McBride wins the nomination?

No. The state would be still a safe Dem hold.

I think that is the plan. We get all the democrats to think they are voting against Jeb and they vote for McBride. The R's who can actually read and write will vote for McBride too.

I don't have a dog in this fight and I can tell you have strong feelings... just telling you what I see as an impartial observer. Don't know anything about McBride, but whatever problems he may have it doesn't make Harris' problems go away.

Come back to us, Triple-E.

BTW, Perry can win the general with 35% (since he has 3 other opponents). Harris won't win with 25% under any circumstances. This race has been over for a long time now.

Sorry field my man...I'm on the dark side here supporting Harris. ROFL!

If she loses, she loses...I just feel that we need to support conservatives like her.

Hey, look, I don't fault you for being a booster, nothing wrong with that. I'm just trying to be realistic about our chances. Virtually everyone on this website wants a Republican to win the seat.

So is Perry in TX.

You're not from Texas, so you're not informed.

Perry will be governor on November 8, for a second term.

Bet on it.

Katherine is Silent

Rep. Katherine Harris, the embattled Republican Senate candidate in Florida, did not make the required notification to House Speaker Dennis Hastert when she was recently subpoenaed by the Justice Department in a campaign contributions case.

House rules require that any member, when subpoenaed, must notify the speaker, who then announces this development from the chair. There is no sign of how Hastert will respond to this failure by Harris.

Justice's investigation involves a campaign contribution to Harris by Mitchell Wade, president and CEO of MZM (a high-tech national security firm based in Washington). Harris is alleged to have broken the law in reimbursing MZM employees for cash they gave to Harris for contributions.

The same can be said about former Senator Bob Smith. The man had won every one of his previous elections, he had a rock-ribbed conservative voting record (96% rating I beleive), and he was a SITTING Senator running for re-election.

Leip's Atlas has this one written incorrectly. Survey USA didn't conduct it; Schroth Eldon % Associates (D) and The Polling Company (R) did it as a bi-partisan poll.
