Lebanon will not force Hizbullah to withdraw

Lebanon's ambassador to the UN said that his government would not use force to ensure the dismantling of Hizbullah, sources said early Sunday morning. He claimed that Hizbullah would independently be responsible for leaving south Lebanon.
"We could have completed a cease-fire by Sunday morning, but Israel insisted on destroying the essence of Lebanon," the ambassador commented while being interviewed by CNN.

More from Lebanon. It seems that there is active support for Hezbollah at the highest levels of the Lebanese government
There are members of Hezbollah is the Prime Minister's office. The PM of Leabanon has no intention what so ever to stop Hizbollah. That is why the Israelis need to capture Beirut.

They will only be rational when they are defeated and that means a very, very bloody un-PC war. Lebanon has just showed their hand and their allies are not the peaceful world. It is a shame that the pictures we saw of Lebanese celebrating in the streets a few months ago are now being 'occupied' by a terrorist regime. They have chosen to lay down with the dogs.
Pray that a lamp my be brought to them to light their feet.

Exactly. Hezzies are definitely the core of Lebanon. Same as whole Middle East.
Accually Hezzies are moderate. Compare to Hamas for example.
Hezzies are not blow themselves up in population gatherings.
