N. Korean Authorities Urge Civilians to Evacuate Near Site of Possible Nuke Test (Breaking)
Headline News Yahooo Japan (in Japanese) JIJI PRESS ^ | 19 August 2006 | JIJI Press, quoting Joongang Ilbo Daily

Posted on 08/18/2006 7:46:33 PM PDT by AmericanInTokyo

Reports from Seoul Korea, (daily newspaper Joongang Ilbo in Seoul) via the Japanese Jiji press agency, that South Korean intelligence has intercepted radio messages/communications in North Korea, which were aired last month, to civilians in the Kilju County, Northern Hamgyeong Province area of northeastern D.P.R.K., to evacuate.

The source in the South Korean government said "our interpretation is that following North Korea's underground nuclear blast test, they wish to head off any escape of radiation that would be a threat to the nearby civilian population and are evacuating as such."

Would this be the August 22nd doomsday that Iran has been talking about?

Headfake. Still not good.

What exactly are you going to say if the seismic sensors 8/22 record a seismic event?

He's had materials and talent on loan from Pakistan / China long enough for one to really get built. Hell the dang thing could be a giant plot by proxy by China.

with modified scuds, or those nodongs, yes you are entirely correct on that, they can take out lots of Tokyo, as well as do some nasty damage to zainichibeigunkichi (places like Misawa, Yokota, Yokosuka, Zama, etc. etc.)

My own armchair guess here is that he will do it on September 11th. Either way, that is within one month's time from today.

I don't think so ... you've got a demostration shot going of 8/22 in North Korea, Iran military wargames kicking off 8/19, Iranian air defense and surface missile tests going off around the same time in the same areas (far north, east and far south Iran), an 8/22 formal declaration / replay from Iran scheduled that day.

I think Kim's gonna light one off, then Iran is going to announce they are a nuclear power with X number of warheads and a Tapedong2 IRBM delivery system and a possible invasion of North and East Iraq with the far east Iran forces playing defense.

I'm thinking they are really gonna do it this time. You don't play massive headgames with this much force.

Yes, "mini me", Yo Kim Chia Pet the Short Donged One, went down for long periods of time when things get hot...such as when Bush called him out as a tyrant, when we launched the air war on Aghanistan, when we started the liberation of Iraq, before his Taepodong1 test some years back, etc. etc. Yes, the rat went underground (or at least hidden) for nearly the last five weeks, with his new bride, Mrs. Kim Jong il The Fourth.

" 'Cuz ya never know WHERE one of their missiles will LAND ... if it makes it very far off the pad."

I got in trouble from one Freeper on one of these "Lil' Kimmie and his missle tests" threads in July, by stating that since China won't take care of Lil' Kimmie, that in a perfect world of "Well, ya had the chance to stop it but didn't", Lil' Kimmie's test would have a "little guidance problem", and end up hitting the Three Gorges Dam.......
