Newt is even less electable than Allen. He has a closet full of skeletons that would place him constantly on the defensive in a Presidential campaign. Plus, only Hillary, among the most prominent hopefuls, would get a lower percentage of women's votes. He strikes many sensible, conservative women (like mrs riverdawg) as a creep.

This Sidarth guy reminds me of the fellows who pretended to be Arab journalists and then exploded their bomb belts once they'd gotten close enough to kill our #1 guy in Afghanistan just before the invasion.

Allen should have asked the security people to take this fellow aside, strip him nekkid, and beat him. That'd been the end of it. Letting someone like this hang around that close is just asking for real trouble.

The Rhesus monkey (rhesus macaque) lives in India. It's thought of highly in the United States, primarily for it's contributions to medical research.

The local press, especially the WP, have been relentless on this issue. Hardly a day goes by when it isn't mentioned. The WP has had it on the front page twice, written an editorial on it the day after, had two pieces from columists on the opinion page, put it in the Metro section including a graphic on hairstyles, in the Style section, and inside the A section. The Webb campaign has also been active.

I agree that you can only apologize so many times, but the MSM will not let go of the issue and continues to bring it up incessantly. I don't blame Allen for reacting the way he does.

There is a double standard by the MSM, one for Reps and one for Dems. The MSM will not let go of this one no matter what Allen does. They will keep it front and center until election day. Allen will be asked about it at every press conference and every debate.
