Too many FRprs use the logical fallacy of broad generalization and don't understand that if what they propose were being done to them they would not react in the manner that they think Muslims will react. I.E. bombing indiscriminately or attacking places of worship without just cause leads to a less docile, more virulent population.

If some lib is doing the same to us, I'd expect no less than guns to the street. To expect the Arab/Islamic world to simply roll over if we brutalize them and mock their beliefs is lunacy.

Are you a muslim?

No. I'm a Christian, a Lutheran. My grandparents on my mother's side would have liked us to be Baptists, but my father's family was from a long line of Lutherans. His parents, my grandparents were from Norway originally. I was raised on the word of God, lutefisk and lefse. LOL

Yeah, so am I, so is MikefromOhio, so is Valin, so is sinkspur, and a horde of others who defend Muslims simply because we don't believe in indicting people wholesale because they share a common creed with their evil counterparts. We are all Dhimmis and/or Muslim jihadis.

Customary ping, per FR rule. Sorry to disturb you guys. :(

I'd like to direct you to this article at the following link:

http://www.nysun.com/article/31393

Excerpt: Muslims in the Military: "His call sign is "Hadji," meaning "one who has made a pilgrimage to Mecca."

"It's a pilot thing," explains Colonel Douglas Burpee, the highest ranking Muslim officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Now in his 23rd year of military service, Colonel Burpee recently returned from flying helicopters in Afghanistan.

"Everyone knows I'm a Muslim. When I fly, attached to my dog tags, I wear a pendant with a passage from the Koran," he says. "I try to set a good example based upon what I believe.... I can be a soldier and a Muslim at the same time. I have no problem with that."

Excerpt: "Certainly that's Colonel Burpee's view. "These people who commit terrorism have just adopted the face of Islam - nothing they say or do have anything to do with Islam," he says. "The Taliban is a terrorist organization - they are bad people doing bad things and they've attached religion to it. They are ruthless when it comes to killing people, but that's how you move helpless people around - you use fear."

Excerpt: "Out of the 1.4 million service men and women serving actively in the American military, an estimated 3,700 are Muslim, according to the Department of Defense."

Excerpt: "Perhaps a more typical portrait of a Muslim soldier in the U.S. military comes from Sergeant Youseff Mandour of the U.S. Army. He immigrated to America from Morocco at the age of 17 and joined the army at age 22. Now 25, he just returned from 12 months in Iraq. Like Colonel Burpee, he aspires to a lifelong career in the military. "I'm fighting for a better life and a belief in freedom," he says. "I had a chance to get involved. I learned the English language and appreciate everything this country has given to me. That's why I joined the Army. The U.S. is doing great things."

If I need to post more, then your hatred is beyond redemption. I hope you and others will read the links I've provided, I hope you will listen and learn and stop talking ridiculous "kill 'em all" sort of hate speech. It's wrong. It's simply, wrong. I believe that from the depths of my Christian, God loving, heart.

You may want to be "friends" with them,

BUT!

Quran-4:89— Take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah. But if they turn renegades, seize them and kill them wherever ye find them; and take no friends or helpers from their ranks.

Their gawd muuuhhamhed (Pigs be inseminating her) commands otherwize!

Again, you and others of your mindset, are taking words out of the Quran and using YOUR interpretation (which oddly enough is the way that the terrorists do it...hmmmmm) to try and convince everyone that ALL Muslims abide by THOSE particular words and want to KILL US ALL. BOO!

Not ALL Muslims agree with the literal interpretation that you choose to believe. They have made that as clear as day but some folks are just blinded by their sheer, across the board hatred that they can't see beyond their contemptable noses.

To me the question is: Sharia Law. Anyone, or anything that would impose it must be destroyed.

And everyone who supports Israel is a Jew.

Good point. And everyone who supports the Christian faith are all White Supremicists. Or Jehovah Witnesses. LOL I had a J.W. tell me that no one in my family would be allowed to enter heaven unless we converted to Jehovah Witnesses. Thank goodness there's still plenty of people in this world with an OUNCE of commonsense who wouldn't claim that ALL Christians are Jo-Ho's because they have interpreted God's word different than some of us. No offense to the J.W.'s.

There has to be a line between saying what you want to say and preaching the genocide of a population," Meen said.
As in what is preached at the local mosque every Friday?

Laura Meen, director of the CAIR local chapter Federation of Utah

Oh, loverly. CIAR- the same organization that has been trying to sue a Lutheran Church for having the gall to send humanitarian aid to Israelis.

The same organization that is a front group for these dudes:

HAMAS and for all practical purposes, Lashkar e Toiba.

* Hamas : Osama Siblani—Siblani is Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Arab-American News, a “newspaper” that constantly praises terrorists and homicide bombers.
Siblani’s wife, M. Kay Siblani, Executive Editor of this rag, is an official of CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations. According to former FBI Counterterrorism chief Oliver “Buck” Revell, CAIR is a Hamas front-group which got its seed money and several employees from Islamic Association for Palestine, another Hamas front group.
The Arab-American News not only loves terrorists and extremist Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan, it runs anti-Semitic diatribes by neo-Nazis, America-hating articles, and frequent bigoted pieces against American Christian leaders. An article in the May 19-25, 2001 Arab-American News attacked Rev. Franklin Graham and Prison Ministries chief Chuck Colson as using slavery in Sudan—which Arab-American News claims doesn’t exist despite millions of living and dead examples--“to attract publicity and money. They (evangelists) can smell the money coming.”
The paper dismissed them as “business-minded self-publicists,” saying, “the religious right” is “not sincere in its efforts.” Then, it made the completely false, preposterous statement that, “[E]vangelists—who are also directors in large corporations that back the Bush administration--might be eyeing Sudan’s oilfields.” Which evangelists? Which corporations? It’s simply false. ----- "Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?," Debbie Schlussel , Townhall.com, April 26, 2002

And the paintball cell / Falls Church Cell / VA jihad [See LAshkar e Toiba / LAshkar e Taiba]

And the same organization which is connected to :

* Omar Ahmad
Co-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). President & CEO of Silicon Expert Technologies, he is a Palestinian who grew up in a refugee camp in Jordan.

" Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant...The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth," ---------Omar Ahmad

* Nihad Awad :  Executive Director of CAIR ; Former  public relations director  for the  Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP) A palestinian born in Jordan and now a U.S. Citizen.

" I am in support of the Hamas movement." ---------Nihad Awad

* Ghassan Elashi : A founder of the Texas chapter of a highly influential U.S. Islamic lobby group was found guilty of supporting terrorism.... ...Ghassan Elashi, along with two brothers, was convicted in Dallas yesterday [April 15, 2005] of channeling funds to a high-ranking official of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, Mousa Abu Marzook. Elashi was a board member of the Texas chapter of the Washington, D.C.-based Council on American Islamic Relations -- the third CAIR figure to be convicted on federal terrorism charges since 9-11.
CAIR is a spin-off of the Richardson, Texas-based Islamic Association For Palestine, or IAP, which was founded by Marzook. Former FBI counterterrorism chief Oliver Revell has called the IAF "a front organization for Hamas that engages in propaganda for Islamic militants." -------- "CAIR leader convicted on terror charges - Founding board member of Texas chapter funded Hamas," By Art Moore,

* Bassem Khafagi & NY Monument Plot :This is not the first time that CAIR has had its officers arrested for Islamist-terror related crimes; Mr. Bassem Khafagi, CAIR’s director of community relations was arrested this past January [2003] and Mr. Siraj Wahhaj, CAIR Advisory Board member has been named as “one of the “unindicted persons who may be alleged as co-conspirators” in a plot to blow up monuments in New York City several years ago.
Once again, CAIR has been embarrassed by links between its senior leadership and terrorism. How long must we wait until the federal government takes those steps necessary to investigate CAIR as a terrorist sponsoring organization? ------------"Former CAIR Officer Indicted," by staff, Anti-Cair-Net.org via Frontpagemag.com, July 4, 2003, [Visit A-Cair at Anti-Cair-Net.org]

* Randall "Ismail" Royer : Other CAIR figures convicted of terror-related crimes include Randall Todd "Ismail" Royer, a former communications specialist and civil-rights coordinator ...Royer was sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges he trained in Virginia for holy war against the United States and sent several members to Pakistan to join Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Kashmiri terrorist group with reported ties to al-Qaida. ------- "CAIR & terrorism: Joseph Farah on Hamas 'front group' posing as civil-rights organization," Joseph Farah, WorldNetDaily.com, April 18, 2005
***
Interestingly, Mr. [Randall Todd ] Royer [of VA Jihad / Paintball Cell / Antiwar.com fame] appears to have served for some time with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as both a communications specialist and a civil rights coordinator, involved at times with various media affairs for CAIR.  This fact was reported by terrorism expert and author Daniel Pipes the day of the initial arrests, but has received little attention in the mainstream media.  A review of CAIR’s national website revealed no mention in their news brief or news release sections covering these latest developments in the case.  CAIR has been an outspoken institutional critic of many aspects of the Government’s counter-terrorism efforts; interesting that it now remains silent concerning Mr. Royer and his band of “paintballers.”     ------Source : Bill West retired as the Chief of the National Security Section for the INS in Miami, Florida and is now a consultant for the Investigative Project, a Washington DC-based counterterrorism research institute.

Sounds like they're getting a little dose of blowback and they don't like it.

>Any demonstration that calls for "Death to Arabs" should not be supported here or anywhere else...

Perfectly said. I've known Christian Arabs, a radical Hindu, radical Christians, Baha'i Arabs, ... I'll never forget how an Arab guy was treated in the university I attended. The students were really racist, and this guy was nice. I doubt he went back to Lebanon with a positive view of America given how he was treated.

Yeah, so am I, so is MikefromOhio, so is Valin, so is sinkspur, and a horde of others who defend Muslims simply because we don't believe in indicting people wholesale because they share a common creed with their evil counterparts.

Therefore it is incumbent upon each of those named to actively solicit the cooperation of your fellow adherents. For if this does not occur, the implications are horrific, to say the least. There must be a reformation; or at the very least an open and honest exchange. In the absence of an open and honest exchange, there will be an introverted and isolationist reaction. Unfortunately.
