And his wife was pregnant on 9/11.
NOT a good thing. Anyway, that's how I got into the reserves in my sheriff's office, then into search and rescue, and disaster preparedness, and why I'm taking EMT classes. I want to be there if it happens again, I want to be ready to help, and I want to get me a terrorist or two, if I can.
Damn....these cheap glasses are always fogging up.
Sometimes when people say "life is not fair" - I think, not its not and I am glad. For the most part we have such easy rides. These people have suffered.
...and there were some bad men and they set afire to the building that your daddy worked in and then came along some Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen and they were mad and all the bad men had to be re-potty trained.
Thank you very much for posting this! I watched the trailer on the ABC website and I'm pretty sure I caught a glimpse of my cousin's daughter, who lost her husband that day. Their only child was born seven days later.
I'll be tuning in, thanks again!
Okay, this doesn't make spiritual sense. She's been praying to her dead husband for guidance for years, and now her new husband is praying to him, too?
Pray tell, first of all how is this different from a seance conjuring up spirits for "guidance" reasons?
And secondly, who added this 9/11 victim to the pantheon of gods claimed by folks out there? Doesn't that bother anybody else? Or are we so sympathetic to these families' plight that our feelings overwhelm our spiritual common sense?
Oh my, watch the video ... (sniff, sniff).
oh God, please don't make me put up with another category of Americans that the media continues to talk about incessantly...."generation Xers are for social security reform, but what about the 9/11 babies?"
Child are a gift from God.
Even if we are no longer here, part of us lives on.
Lord, bless these little ones, and watch over them in the future.
For such is the Kingdom of Heaven, as Jesus said.
Excuse me...I can't see the screen so well anymore.
I hate this kind of sensationalism. A tragic, violent death is a tragic, violent death, no matter who perpetuated it. The suffering of these people, as great as it is, is really not all that much different than a family whose husband/father was murdered while working in a 7/11...or a post office. Am I wrong?
Thanks for the ping Dr. S!
Just short of 5 years...Still seems like just short of yesterday... ) :
THIS is why we fight. THIS is what an evil enemy did to us.
And they will do it again and again and again if we don't wage war against them as we are doing now.
God bless these families and grant them peace. I can't imagine their pain.
BUMP!!
Never forget.
Very poignant. I wish them all well.
Sounds like this is setting up 'The Path to 911.'
