Aw, geez.
This guy is a left-wing McCarthyite.
If anyone thinks you won't be "blacklisted" in Hollywood for being a conservative, you aren't paying attention.
Max seems to be mad about ABC producing a pro-america miniseries.
Hollywood has more power when Democrats are in power, Bill Clinton was the first "Hollywood" President who stroked their egos, that's why they love him so much.
"supposedly liberal bias"
...like the "supposedly hot sun"
Or portray Cheney as a bumbling old know nothing? Or the brilliant Condi as needing Clarke to tell her what she should do?
This is clearly not a 'right wing' production.............just an attempt at honesty, which makes the clinton administration look like it really was........inept, incompetant and irresponsible.
The howls coming from the left are amusing. I hope they keep this up.
I wish they would analyze the politics and associations of every screenwriter, director and actor in every film...then everyone could really see the vastly vast left wing control that has Hollywood and the rest of our old media in it's grip.
Convinced? No - that is propaganda to control the masses and get their power back.
The only worry is that there are so many ignorant sound byte news citizens out there. Those that are really aware of what is going on in the world cannot possibly believe the leftist agenda. If they choose to follow the left - they are socialists, marxists or those that choose their careers over their country.
What else would you call elected democrat officials threatening to destroy your network if you don't pull a TV show?
Oh wait, Max was talking about the producers of the TV show. I understand Richard Clarke was involved, because of his knowledge of events and his hero status.
The discussion was about the leftist POV, Gone.
Try to keep up.
You begin to realise that they HAD to do this in somewhat secrecy, because if the left knew about it months ago their pressure tactics would have worked.
Somebody needs to write a book specifically to annotate the movie.
When a leftist producer or director is involved in a film, does the media go to this much trouble to discover their political ties? I really hate the left in this country.
I have Band of Brothers on DVD, and I watch it at least once per year around the anniversary of D-Day. The best movie portrayal of war I have ever seen.
And from that movie, I have become a big Donnie Wahlberg fan. He has become a good actor. His portrayal of Carwood Lipton on BOB was super.
I also liked his rendition of "Kirk" on Path.
Self-loathing Jew.
That would have been a more complete and accurate title for the movie.
Bingo. That is why some folks were surprised that the Clintons did this so out in the open. They didn't have a choice.
And then the whispering voice goes "secretive" and "e-van-gel-ical"
I heard him interviewed once and he said without hesitation his favorite role was that of Lipton. When asked why he said because Lipton was a real rather than a fictional hero.
