While thousands came on 9/11/2006 to honor and remember the 3,000 murdered five years ago by Islamofascists terrorists, a couple hundred people came to repeat scurrilous accusations. Their gathering to express these views is free speech yet their gathering on 9/11, at Ground Zero, says a lot about their lack of character.

The leader of these self-proclaimed "9/11 truthers" is Alex Jones, who was also there Monday. He is the guy in the sunglasses in the bottom left of the photo below. The truth is the last thing these ghouls want for their otherwise mundane lives have been made "better" and some of their personal fortunes have increased solely based upon innuendo.
One prime theory the "9/11 truthers" have is the World Trade Center Twin towers, as well as WTC building 7, collapsed not because United Airlines flights 11 and 175 were crashed into the North and South Towers. Instead, they theorize they were all brought down by controlled demolition. Protec, the foremost authority on controlled demolitions, examined this assertion and strongly disagrees. Take a few minutes and read their report. While facts will not cause the "9/11 truthers" to slink off in shame, you will be far better informed than the next foolish person you hear saying, "WTC 7 was pulled."

"If the eggheads in our government would simply release some of the surveillance video they are hanging on to and the audio off cockpit voice recorders maybe these conspiracy geeks would go away." Hogwash! They're already saying the phone calls from Flight 93 were faked. They would say the same thing about surveillance video and voice recorders. Karl Rove can create hurricanes and direct them to kill black people. He can plant forged documents and make them look like they came form a Kinkos in Texas! He could whip up a fake cockpit recording in no time! There is absolutely nothing that would make them "go away". They will just keep coming up with theories to explain away the evidence that refutes them.
So, who do you think did 9-11?
I don't think I said I buy everything presented in Loose Change. Some of it was just nuts.

It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt.Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration.
There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning!
He was being drilled by a senator; "Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?"
Ollie replied, "Yes, I did, Sir."
The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, "Isn't that just a little excessive?"
"No, sir," continued Ollie.
"No? And why not?" the senator asked.
"Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir."
"Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned.
"By a terrorist, sir" Ollie answered.
"Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?"
"His name is Osama bin Laden, sir" Ollie replied.
At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?" the senator asked.
"Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of", Ollie answered.
"And what do you recommend we do about him?" asked the senator.
"Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth."
The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip.
By the way, that senator was Al Gore!

Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners."
However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released.
Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center . This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified.
It was censored in the US from all later reports.
If you agree that the American public should be made aware of this fact, pass this on.

The information that debunks these clowns is out there for people to read. Only now is the MSM beginning to look at these assertions and few are seriously debunking them. We have to lead this effort on the internet and force the MSM to follow suit. My neice and nephew, as well as all the children of those murdered on 9/11, should not grow up hearing these conspiracies went uncontested.

I applaud your efforts, but part of me thinks they should just be ignored as the nuts they are. By repsonding to them, you validate them as a serious challenge.

You really think government tapes are going to convince these guys of anything???? Video evidence, eye witness accounts, hundreds of phone conversations, parts of planes, missing people, and common sense all contradict what these loons are saying. Giving into demands of a couple whackos seems dumb to me. There is nothing to prove.
