This is a disturbing incident involving a serious breach of trust.

Owens said she had a sex spirit and lesbian demon inside her that he needed to cast out. These things are running all over San Francisco

I think the pastor got a little carried away there, don't you! I can't even conceive of such an event.
Man, I'm telling you, I'm not strong enough to fight a man, but in this case, I'm pretty sure I could have kicked the demon right out of HIM! (we know where HIS demons reside!)
Pervert! Jerk! (and worse)

Wouldnt the woman have suspected something amiss when
he told her to lay on the floor?

"Leonard Ray Owens, who is free on $25,000 bail,..." Absolutely a serious breach of trust and why is this "evil spirit" out on only $25,000 bail. If this is true or even thought to be true I would imagine that an appropriate bail would be in the 500,000 to 1 mil range.

Owens raped her again a month later, after he asked her come to his house to pray for another woman. The first rape didn't convince her to stay away from this pervert? Good grief!

Sounds like he was the one with a demon spirit not her.
What a rotten creep.

accused of raping...
Seems to be more than accusations here. Like suspicion of the woman's story. It took a second rape to report the first incident? So far all responses here accept the woman's story.

Owens, a self-proclaimed prophet.... If he's a prophet he'll have no problem living in prison the rest of his days converting sinners.
Perhaps that's his calling. < /s >

This is a very sad story.
I wonder what man-made religion this pastor affiliates with?

Ok, so what religion is this? Lots of details on the act but nothing on the church.

"The woman told police that Owens raped her again a month later, after he asked her come to his house to pray for another woman."
She went back to his house a second time after a rape? Something smells fishy here.

"The woman told police that the pastor wore a condom. Afterward, Owens, a self-proclaimed prophet, ordered her to wash her face in the name of Jesus and to read Psalm 105:15, which says to do no harm to prophets, the woman told police."
He's not a prophet, he's a "profit."
Must be he stopped paying his hush money, that's why she started squealing.

Did he tell her to put some ice on it? Still waiting for the headline: Impeached Ex-President indicted in rape case

This story needs a lot of investigation. What woman would go back to the home of a man who had raped her to have a prayer session? I guess I just can't believe anyone would be that stupid or naive.
