Wonderful Post!

A man I date had a son who worked in Secret Service for 42 & 43. He was assigned to Pres Bush(43) detail initially.

When a president leaves office the SS are asked to sign up for the outgoing president on a volunteer basis. Normally there is a LOT of names requesting this .. and agents are chosen with some turned down...

BUT

... for Clinton's family there were NO volunteers. My friends son was one of them removed from 43 assigned to 42. He dropped out of the SS rather than serve Clinton. He is now a federal air Marshall.

His stories were much like you reported... She was a witch & he a pleasant often but unworthy of respect or trust. Someone you definitely would not want to "take a bullet for"

It was crystal clear that the Clinton's neither liked nor respected each other, and this was true long before the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Theirs was genuinely a "marriage of convenience."

Anyone who read "The Truth About Hillary" knows this was the case from nearly the beginning.

Likewise, the Secret Service considers President Bush to be a gem of a man to work for. He always treats them with genuine respect, and he always trusts and listens to their expert advice. They really like the Crawford, Texas detail. Every time the president goes to Crawford he has a Bar-B-Q for his security detail, and he helps serve their meals. He sits with them, eats with them, and talks with them. He knows each of them by their first name, and calls them by their first name as a show of affection. He always asks about their family, the names of which he always remembers. They believe that he is deeply and genuinely appreciative of their service. They could not like, love, or respect anyone more than President Bush. Most of them did not know they would feel this way, until they had an opportunity to work for him and learn that his manner was genuine and consistent. It has never changed since he began his Presidency. He always treats them with the utmost respect, kindness, and compassion.

This just seems to be common senese not to mention common coutesy, particuarly when these are the folks that not only guard the President's life but by duty would lay theirs down if necessary. I remember seeing that movie Primary Colors where the Clinton character would wander off and talk with ordinairy American folk and remember saying that while I believe that Clinton does have a side to him that can relate because of his more humble roots it was always overshadowed by his penchant for power and all of it's possible excesses. Not to mention his penchant for self-gratification. Talent without a moral core of decency.
