CNN: PAGE LAWYER DOES NOT RULE 'IN OR OUT' PRANK CLAIM... DEVELOPING... Former congressional page Jordan Edmund's lawyer Stephen Jones... BLITZER: He will join us live in the next hour. What are you hearing, Brian, about some of these Internet suggestions, some Republicans suggesting this whole thing is a prank, a hoax and there is no there, there.

CNN REPORTER: "We asked him about that item in the DRUDGE REPORT. He said very clearly he cannot rule that in, he cannot rule that out. He says he is not saying it was not a prank but later in the interview, CNN pressed him on that. He said that he -- he does not read the DRUDGE REPORT, not part of his regular reading and, quote, it sounds like a piece of fiction...

BLITZER: He says the DRUDE REPORT item sounds like a piece of fiction?

CNN REPORTER: He did say that, but important to note he says he is not ruling it in or out.

What On earth has happened to Scarborough?! Did the GOP murder his puppy or something?! I started to wonder about him way back during the run up to the 2004 election when he started giving advice to Lurch about how to win the election........But now?!!... He has completely gone over to the dark side. Maybes he's being brainwashed by PMSNBC or Olberman OR something, who knows?...........

What could have led to this "core belief impasse" in 2004? Blackmail? These 2 have been the key players in the media. I think this question is important.

That is too funny! I'm going to have to remember that one. Schade means anything in German.

I haven't watched him in ages (out of disgust) but I think that since PMSNBC gets what miniscule viewership they do get primarily from leftie bozos who love Olbermann and tolerate Matthews, the only way they can keep their pathetic network going is for Scarborough to pose as the "reasonable" Republican who sells out his party at every opportunity. Kinda like Novak's shtick on CNN, when he was still there..... the MSM and the left can sometimes tolerate a token pseudo-conservative who is willing to kiss up to the libs and embarrass his party at every opportunity. That is also why they love someone people like Pat Buchanan, who is more conservative but often a wingnut and most useful for attacking the Republicans from another angle........

Absolutely, that posting is a great find and must be researched further. Clearly these two were the crucial players in running the website for the "House Page Alumni Assn." throughout 2003 and then had a falling out by the beginning of 2004 over a "core belief impasse"..... could involve the IMs already (if they are real), especially if Matthew Loraditch had seen them and wanted to "do" something with them (blackmail, dirty tricks, etc.). The only way Jordan Edmund is not the main culprit (though still a dangerous fool) is if he really never wanted those IMs to get out to any public but foolishly printed them and shared them with fellow-page-pals like Matthew Loraditch.

What is going on? I write this message knowing that it most likely will not be placed for public viewing, but that makes my case. This organization is a mess. Matthew Loraditch - I say this with all due respect, but we are humans, for the most part adults. You need not sit and monitor this website like we are children being exposed to the dangers of the world. This website is not going to be your lifetime. I know that may disappoint you, but this website will come and go. Quite frankly, many of us are too busy to check this website once a week, let alone, once a month. I have offered several postings before, but they weren't allowed to be published, for what reasons, I don't know. Here are some things that you possibly could work on:

1) Keep consistency. I don't know how many times the picture of the week is back up. I mean, seriously, the picture of the week has been on vacation more than President George W. Bush, which as of August 2003, was 250 days.

2) When the picture of the week is back, make sure the link works.

3) Make the site user friendly. I mean click this, click that, enter this, put this in there, do this, put confirmation code here, etc. etc. is a bit extreme. Half of the stuff doesn't even work, or is useless.

4) Instead of driving people away from the site, perhaps you should be looking at ways to bridge your closely held beliefs with the rest of the world. You and a select few share you beliefs. The website and positions within the organization should be open to all people, whether you agree with them or not.

5) Resign and turn this over to the people that belong to this site.

This may sound harsh, but it has never been like me to use tact when dealing with this sort of thing. I look forward to seeing this posted, and even more so for the debate that should follow... Thoughts?

The site seems great to me! And I certainly believe a certain amount of monitoring is needed, especially after some of the posts and pictures of have seen posted on this site.

I'm not an adult, and neither are the many, many, prospect pages who roam this site. We are simply eager kids looking for any sort of information on the page program, and in my mind, loraditchm has done a fantastic job of facilitating that flow of information.

As for your specific points:

1) Picture of the week can only be as consistent as those who are willing to contribute pictures. You cannot expect the web master to generate a picture every week, the pictures must come from pages who are willing to submit them. This is not a flaw in the web design, but simply a short supply of pictures which could be easily remedied if people would contribute.

2) I'm not sure what you are talking about. In order to get to pic of the week you go to Sections, click "Pic of the week" and click the picture you would like to view. Though you may consider this a tedious process, all of the links do work.

3) Um...perhaps you could clarify what exactly doesn't work. As far as I can see, the forum and prospect page sections have been a tremendous success.

4) I REALLY do not know where you are driving at with this point. The site IS accessible to all, if it wasn't I wouldn't be here. loraditchm knows nothing about me, my history, my beliefs or anything else about me, and yet I am a registered poster with a pretty high post count. I did not need his permission to register. as I'm sure you know (since you are registered) all that is required is for you to chose a user name! And in fact, if you feel uncomfortable with that, you can even post as an anonymous guest. Restricted access? I don't believe so.

5) First of all, to my knowledge, loraditchm is the prime source of funding for this site. To ask someone to relinquish control of a site which they support out of their own pocket money is ludicrous. Secondly, loraditchm has done is utmost to encourage a form of "government" if that is what you would like to call it by introducing a constitution/charter. If you visited the site regularly, you would have seen the vote regarding this. However, since only 44 (I believe) members of this board actually voted, it was determined that more growth was needed before further action was necessary.

Those are my thought General conclusion: You've done an awesome job loraditchm

I'll throw my thoughts on the matter into this as well.

1. I know the feeling with POTW, but your aim is off. Loraditch doesn't run it, he appoints people to do it. The last person in charge wasn't able to keep up with everything, so it fell down. I've taken over the job now, and we're starting to stockpile photos and other important stuff for it, so it should be consistant for at least the next year or two.

2. I'm assuming you mean the link on the picture in the news posts? If so, good point. It would be nice to get that working, but I have no idea what it would take to do that, so for now I'm putting a link in the text of the post, and then there's always the other way that Joy128 mentioned.

3. I see your point with some of that. The security/hoops are a good thing, though. Keeps it all clean. As for the broken stuff...well, I think a lot of that is lack of content to put in the places. Mebbe you could write up some?

4. Neutral to this.

5. I think I've got to agree with Joy128 on this one. He who has the gold, makes the rules, and if he did resign, who'd pay for all this? I know there's a donation button, but I have no idea how much it brings in (if anything.) Also, I think he's doing a pretty good job of making this a 'community run' board. He's not the only mod in the place, and he has been trying to get people to take positions of responsibility throughout the site. I know he recently opened a decent list of positions (don't know what all has been filled, except for POTW), so I hope you've applied/ offered to help with something.

Anyways, that's my two cents on this. You've brought up some good points that will hopefully get results, especially from board members. Good job to Loraditch, too.

Thank you for reminding me that Loraditch is the webmaster. Silly me! I almost forgot. You think that someone who made a practice of "banning" people from the website and further making a forum abuot it, would surely be remembered as the webmaster. Damn power hungry liberals... I mean...

I guess that further proves my point, that as webmaster he is ultimately responsible for what is posted, or in many cases, not posted. No, Joy128, unfortunately, all the links do not work! I do not have the time to sit and copy and paste links that don't work, otherwise I would. I do urge you though to check out ALL the links before making that assertion.

They put themselves in charge of the website until death..har! And they got it started with an anonymous donor...wonder who that could be?

"I knew that was going to come up. Well let me put a few things out for you. Right now everything this site has has been done by myself and jordan. Most of this stuff was paid for out of my pocket, there were a few donations from our class which helped with initial startup but since then i have purchased 10 or so more domains(half at cost but half at more than for the billy kwilos domains and rights to his former site) with my own personal funds, everything is in my name. I do the maintenance and repair and upgrades. Jordan helps with news, forums and some miscellaneous stuff. I also have some coding help from a local friend of mine.

As of right now the charter has no provisions for dues, so except for our recent anonymous donation, I don't plan on recieving any additional funds which leaves everything up to jordan and myself to pay for, we have had the paypal box up for a few months now and no one has expressed any interest whatsoever. so for the forseeable future we will paying the fees needed to keep the site up and running. and thus we gave ourselves some measure of control over our creation.

One thing i would point out is that nowhere did i give either of us veto power or absolute control. We can be overidden by everyone else on anything. My sum total is until jordan and I aren't the bank we deserve our positions after that I would not be opposed the some or all relinquishment.
Let me know your thoughts!"

He is buddies with the 25-year old campaign manager. Let me give you an example -- Saturday they sent a group in the morning to Stillwater for the OSU game BUT there was no game on Saturday. At the OU game they only had a few stickers to hand out. They are the most disorganized, worst campaign I have ever witnessed. They do phoney polls and tell themselves they are legit. I could go on and on but that should give you the picture. He was also the finance person for Istook and neither he or the campaign manager came from OK or knew OK.

Therefore he is no longer an adminstrator of this site, this was my sole decision and repurcussions from that decision are my fault, unfortunately, the reason for our impasse necessitated that for me to be true to myself I needed to do this. I take full responsibility for my actions."

I don't know what it means beyond the obvious fact that they had a major falling out and parted ways ..... to me the phrase "a personality and core belief impasse" suggests that person X thinks Y is a scumbag or vice-versa, or at least that they just couldn't deal with each other any more..... could the IM transcripts have been an issue (what to do with them) or was it entirely about other things? Maybe they shared a gay lover and were fighting for control.... I sure don't know.

TV Project in Development

I have recently recieved an interesting e-mail, and have been informed that a TV project is being developed that may in some way involve pages.

As part of that project, the authors have asked me to post a questionaire for them that hopefully everyone can fill out and return to them, and i have done so. The file may be accessed here. You may also see a copy of the email and make comments here.

Jordan Edmund was big pals with this Matthew Loraditch (quoted extensively by ABC) in 2003 and then they had a major falling out by Jan. 2004 and Loraditch booted Edmund out of his leadership role in the "House Page Alumni Assn." Loraditch may have had a membership in a really disgusting gay/bisexual website (discussed at link below) or else someone "enrolled" his name as another kind of "prank" (if the some of the House Pages really did think it "funny" to spoof people's sexuality). So either Edmund and/or Loraditch may really be gay/bisexual OR they and people around them think it's really a hoot to mess with people's minds about issues of sexuality by doing bogus IMs, enrolling people as "members" in gay/bisexual websites, etc.:

"From what been said I think it is a pretty clear that this ex page is not gay"

He's carrying the torch for the gay agenda. No reason to carry on a "prank" for this length of time otherwise. Foley was anti same sex marriage and gay. A hypocrite in gay terms, someone to be brought down. The timing of this story says it all, a gay hit piece. Edmund may work for a Republican, but he is a Trojan Horse
