Didn't believe this yesterday when it was posted. Old story.

it's time for conservative Christians to take a time out from politicsThree weeks before an election. And an appearance on 60 Minutes.
Must be a coincidence.

I saw Kuo interviewed on 60 Minutes.
First off, the timing of his book...right before elections clearly is aimed at helping Democrats.
Secondly, his big concern in the interview, over and over, was that Bush wasn't helping the poor enough--as he thinks Christians are called to do (via the government? Where's that in the Bible?).
The interview even showed him being critical of evangelical Christians at a convention since they had nothing there about helping the poor. (what kind of convention was it? we're not told...)
To hear now he's a former intern for Ted Kennedy doesn't surprise me. Kuo is in no shape or form a political conservative...and is probably masquarading as a conservative Christian as well.

RINOs are generally secular humanists. Liberal in most matters but "conservative" regarding taxes and business regs.

Even Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell do NOT represent the average Christian. Most Christians I know will admit that while both of those men are good, decent men, they are a bit "off the deep end" sometimes.

Whores are whores and Kuo is a whore. If he wrote a book praising this administration no one would be interested. He sold lies for money. Ugh.

Kuo was motivated to join the White House team because of the promise of spending $8 billion on programs for the poor. The government was already spending many times 8 billion a year on programs for the poor.

In other words, don't vote so Democrats can win.
This guy is going to make all kinds of money cuz the MSM is going to give him ALL the FREE TIME he wants.

No, the Republican Establishment too often acts more like the Democrat traitors and basically only pays lipservice to the base and I quite frankly the Republicans have no one to blame but themselves for a loss this congressional election cycle david kuo, is that you?

OK.. Evangelical Christians will take a break from politics for the month of December! How's that Mr Kuo? What's that Mr Kuo? You wanted them to do that in November? Nice try! LOL!

Jerry Falwell do NOT represent the average Christian. Most Christians I know will admit that while both of those men are good, decent men, they are a bit "off the deep end" sometimes.
Out of curiousity, what has Jerry Falwell said that makes him someone who is "off the deep end?" The last public statements I recall him making were that 9/11 may have been a form of God's judgement against America for abandoning family values. Given the record of some of the things that happen in the Bible, I don't think that any Christian can realistically dismiss such a statement without weighing the possibility that it may in fact be true.

Sure, and that's why Cheney's lesbian daughter is working so hard for the campaign...as well as the log cabin republicans because the Bush Administration was the first in history, first republican, to hold strategy meetings with homosexual groups.

Didn't Ann Coulter make the point that Bush barely spent 15 minutes during the campaign in 2004 on the issue of Gay Marriage?

Where does it say in the Constitution that when you become a Christian you forfeit your rights as a citizen? Don't see it in the First Amendment. Can't seem to find it anywhere else.
