Zig-Zogby: From Touting Link To Liberal Network To Claiming He'll Be 'Fair & Balanced'

What a difference a day makes! Just yesterday, as I reported here, pollster John Zogby was boasting of his affiliation with Nova M, the new liberal radio network, heir to the moribund Air America. The headline of the mass email he sent out proclaimed: "Air America Co-Founders Start New Liberal Talk Network: Mike Malloy, Joe Trippi and John Zogby join Nova M Radio."

As he breathlessly announced the "formation of [the] new progressive talk radio network" by a couple of Air America's original founders, Zogby touted his own connection, letting us know that he will be co-hosting a weekly one hour show, “The Pulse of the Nation.” The idea will be for Zogby to "poll particular hot button issues from politics and pop culture to the War in Iraq and stem cell research. Each program will include expert guests and audience participation. At the end of each show John will reveal the secret results of the poll and each listener will then know whether or not they have their finger on 'The Pulse of the Nation!'"

We were quick to question the implications for Zogby's reputation. As we wrote:

"What does it say about the objectivity of Zogby's polling that John Zogby will be a regular contributor?"

No doubt many others also raised similar questions. If a pollster's stock-in-trade is unbiased, reliable results, wasn't Zogby jeopardizing his most precious asset by so closely aligning himself with such a blatantly partisan operation as Nova M radio?

Could it be that Zogby thought things over, overnight, and decided he needed to make a move to shore up his reputation? It would seem so, since within the last hour, he has issued a second email, stressing his objectivity. So concerned is Zogby to demonstrate that he hasn't sold out to the forces of the left that he even employs the catch-phrase of Fox News Channel - 'fair & balanced.'

Excerpts from Zogby's latest:

* “Pulse of the Nation” to be a nonpartisan discussion of the worlds of American politics, business, pop culture, and lifestyles.

* [Zogby's] company . . is an independent polling and market research firm.

* We have maintained our status as an independent company not tied to the Democrats or the Republicans.

* And then there's the email's headline: "Zogby Radio: A Fair and Balanced Look At What People Are Really Thinking"

I don't know about you, but I'd call this a . . . zig-Zogby!

JZ is lying.

But what's new about that? It's his stock in trade, just like all leftist drones. Add to that his tacit affiliation with pro Jihadi groups and you've got a perfect symbol for this newest incarnation of George Soros' own propaganda network.

They start on October 30th and the election is November 7th. The only reason they're going on the air is to play cheerleader before the election and as the "voice of revolution" afterward if they lose. At least long enough to file their vote challenges in front of specially selected Clinton and Carter appointed judges.

Zogby's reputation was destroyed in 2004, when he fudged his predictions based on his polling on election day to match those of the erroneous exit polls.

He claimed after the fact that his actual poll results were correct, just his analysis that was off, but since he didn't seem inclined to release his poll results he used to make his predictions at the same time he made those predictions it's kind of hard to take seriously.

So basically Zogby may be capable doing good polling work, but we have no way of knowing if any particular poll he releases is reliable.

Not only is Zogby NOT "fair and balanced" as he leans far to the left, he is ALSO an Islamofascist apologist.

John Zogby -shyster pollster & James Zogby - head of the American Arab Institute - propagandists for the Saudi -Wahabi lobby
October 25, 2004

James and John Zogby, pro Saudi propagandists whose sound bytes and polling statistics often go unchallenged despite the evidence of their Islamist and pro Saudi bias.
Brothers John and James Zogby, the head of the polling organisation and a the Arab American Institute, are two examples of how slick packaging and public relations are enabling them to push their pro Wahabi and anti American agenda as a and manipulate American public and political opinion .

Pollster John Zogby was a left wing activist who ran for public office and turned his pre election assessment into his present polling career .

In an article entitled "How I did it " Zogby arrogantly boasts that he intends to become the leading authority for opinion studies in the US ,while takeing a swipe at politicians who are among his biggest clients :

"I want to be the Gallup of my generation, the household word, the generic. I have plans to make this a $40 million corporation, partly by pursuing licensing agreements with partners around the world. We're getting ready to poll Swaziland. We've completed Botswana and Malawi. Most of these polls are corporate-sponsored. We want to know the investment climate, the path to reform.

Once I was a very liberal professor activist, and I saw a political career for myself. But I managed to be cured of that disease."........snip
