Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan's foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts.

JOhn HInkley did his best to off Reagan - I still don't buy how all that went down. No problem getting real close to the Gipper and shooting at him and everyone else.

No surprise here, seeing that his father wanted to appease Hitler. Alcoholic, murderer, liar, philanderer, plagiarist, and traitor, all wrapped up in one big, fat pig.

I seem to remember this being called TREASON in earlier times.

That's an insult to big, fat pigs.

The apple doesn't fall from the tree. His father was somewhat supportive of Hitler's Germany while he was ambassador to England. FDR recalled him from his post because of Joe Kennedy's belief that Germany would overpower England.

"Sure would be nice to get a hold of the actual letter."

I'd love to know if the moron wrote it on Senate letterhead. More than likely he did. He's not that smart.

"Tunney told his contacts that Kennedy was very troubled about the decline in U.S -Soviet relations under Reagan," Kengor said. "But Kennedy attributed this decline to Reagan, not to the Soviets. In one of the most striking parts of this letter, Kennedy is said to be very impressed with Andropov and other Soviet leaders."  >>

"I'm sure there'll be an innocent explanation.............as soon as he thinks of one."

Even if he comes up with one, no one will be able to understand him when he says it. We'll have to get Rush to slow it down so we can hear: "You're just a bunch of sheep alright."

Treason of the highest order.

Wouldn't be surprised to find out that he also contacted Ho Chi Minh to assist him in formulating a battlefield strategy to counter President Nixon's foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts. Worked so well he did it with Reagan, too. I mean, wtf... What's the difference?

This was a story in the London Telegraph or Times in the early 1990's, and reported by Rush Limbaugh back then. This is old news, but, as it was not noted by our MSM back then, it needs to be shouted from the rooftops at every opportunity, although, there are many would cheer Teddy's actions.

I am a Massachusetts resident who can proudly proclaim that I have NEVER voted for Kennedy. In fact I would probably vote for a hamster over Teddy.

This posting shows he's done and will do anything to keep his power base and it doesn't surprise me. We need a decent candidate to oppose him.

Living in Massachusetts is so frustrating!

Kerry Healy had better win. We need balance in this state.

1. an intent to betray the United States (which can be inferred from); 2. an overt act; 3. witnessed by two people; and 4. that provides aid and comfort to an enemy of the United States.

Those are the Constitutional requirements, no "interpretation" required.

No person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to teh same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court

That quote is the sentence after the one you quoted.

"How can the people of Mass. re-elect this manslaughtering, drunken traitor?"

The hard core rats of Mass have lost every shred of decency and loyalty.

The wife of a couple. who are among our best friends grew up in Boston. She will not allow her dad to visit her home nor a sister and her new husband, who are native Bostonians.

The real tension started during the Clinton/Monica mess and other Clintoon miss adventures like selling the ChiCom our military secrets.

The dad is 87 and a WWII hero, who started changing during the Nam mess. The sister is younger is a political carbon copy of her father.

They feel the Pope, President Bush, and any Republican is the enemy. They are confrontational with relatives, friends and even strangers. A brother moved to Australia in 1997/8 to get away from his Dad and sister.

The Dad and Sister never go to church, and the Rat Hate America theme is their new religion.

Our friend says that their behavior is "normal" for the Boston area which has elected Kennedy, Kerry and Frank for decades.

What's funny is how incredibly conservative JFK was, and how wacko liberal Teddy is. After all, JFK gave us Byron White, one of the 2 dissenters in Roe. Teddy would never have voted to confirm him.

Now, when conservatives claim a left wing conspiracy, we do it with documented proof.

Where can I get the documents that prove it?
