Was this CNN? The Clinton News Network?
Now,now, I don't think our ignorant. I just don't think it makes sense to comment on an article you haven't read.
The article points out nicely how the Demoncrats have had 12 years or so to regroup and present an alternative and have failed miserably in this regard.
I guess you didn't read the article either.
Right on right on.
W hasn't done much to help clear the way, either. He could have used the "bully pulpit" to help advance his and the Congress' agenda. He did not, IMHO.
Did they show the snuff film first?
Is Time Warner good for America?
There's a poll question alongside the article.
The time for that sort of analysis is after, and if, the Republicans lose. The Donks would be far worse, but it's too big a risk to count on the sheeple to figure that out in time for 2008.
So, get out the vote for Republicans!
Thanks for your civil response.
I will admit that my method of sifting through the mountains of data on the Internet, while 99% effective for me has, on several rare occasions, embarassingly left me in a position to offer an apology for a comment or conclusion, which I have done willingly.
I don't think this is one of them (Since after reading it, I still think I am correct) but I thank you for the reasonable response.
Dear Free Me,
I certainly don't agree with all things promulgated by the republicans but that is not the point. The Main stream media is bent on ridculing republicans without providing both sides of the argument. Here is what I wrote and by the way the article no longer exists on CNNMONY. At least I couldn't find it.
Cait,
you truly personify the new arrogant left. Your article, like other similar ones found in the main stream media are nothing more than an extension of the DNC's standard "talking points". Please explain what you mean by "sense of purpose and energy". What exactly does that mean other than innuendo. If you are going to editorialize, then at least have enough integrity to call it such.
From my perspective, the house of representatives are finally putting some issues to rest. For example, with the recent passage of the border bill we may finally see a true barrier built to stem the flow of illegal aliens to the United States. With regards to the war in Iraq, history will only tell. Look at South Korea today, I am sure that South Koreans are happy not to be living under the regime of the current despotic leader in North Korea. Maybe 55 plus years ago many Americans may have questioned and doubted our role in fighting for South Korea as well. By the way, the number of U.S. soldier deaths attributed to the Korean war was over 40,000., that would be 15 times greater than the number of soldiers killed in Iraq as of today. Oh and where were you on our bombing of Yugoslavia and the supposed 100,000 mass graves that never materialized. Did you ever once question your hero Bill Clinton on this? I doubt it.
One benefit of being in Iraq is that we are a lot closer to Iran. Maybe the Iranians will think twice about exploiting their nuclear weapons program with the U.S Army peering over their border.
If the democrats take control, it will just be one more step towards European socialism.More big government programs, less opportunity for the middle class and increasing strength for the social elites, which I would say you are a member of.
Keep up the good leftist diatribe, it is so predictable.
Congress Daily quoted Charles Rangel, the New Yorker who would head the Ways and Means Committee in a Democratic Congress, saying in late September he would consider tax increases across the spectrum. A few days later, Rangel retreated. It's too soon to discuss either increases or cuts, he told the New York Sun. Great - the head of the nation's tax-writing committee has no views on taxes. But then, no one else in his party does, either. Democrats may well benefit politically from the mess in Iraq - but only by default, because the only discernible Democratic policy on the matter is to blame Bush for it. More troops? Fewer? A timetable for withdrawal? With conditions? Who knows?
A month or two back, Sean Hannity said that the Republicans deserve to lose, but the Democrats don't deserve to win.
:') The Dhimmicrats have to be defeated; one of the problems we all face is that our preferred idealogy isn't 100 per cent shared by every politician of our favorite political party. But to regard deviance from what we consider the party line to be unpardonable and intolerable is a good reason to consider conversion to Islam. ;')

Umm...what are you saying here....?
Did I miss a component related to this discussion? Is it really a guy who was a woman, or vice versa?
see your 23 - that's when the similarity struck me.
