Finally some clear weather at Olney. There was a cool, slight breeze but the new faces at Olney were warmed by the FReep.
FReeper roll call included 3D-Joy, TFroatz, Cindy_True_Supporter (CTS), [Mrs] Trooprally ([Mrs] T), Lurker Bill and his daughter, and myself. [Mrs] T took the pictures so there are no pics of her today. Including the local that joined us, we had 8 to the moonbats nine.
TFroatz and 3D-Joy finally made it to Olney. Due to [Mrs] T's and my busy schedule for the day, we didn't have our regular breakfast at the Olney bunker. But TFroatz is now on our regular Olney list so he'll make our next breakfast.
BELOW LEFT: TFroatz on the right talking with me and CTS Freeping in my regular spot. Being possessive of "my corner", I chased her off to Lurker Bill's corner since he was running late. CTS was a real trooper filling in for us, keeping the honks and waves coming. BELOW RIGHT: CTS on "my corner" before being chased off.
3D-Joy (BELOW), with CTS, made Olney her last FReep before heading back home to Florida. After a fiery crash in March she has recovered sufficiently to head home. At Walter Reed, her hobbling/dancing across Georgia Avenue and her always cheerful personality will be sincerely missed. 3D-Joy is also a most generous person. She always had a small gift for a FReeper or the troops.
3D-Joy - Thanks for being such a positive presence while you were in the D.C. area. Have a safe trip home.
We also had a local stop by (BELOW), between 3D-Joy on her right and CTS on her left. She is a Cuban refugee who has become an American citizen. She said that the moonbats have no idea of what they are doing, that they should spend time in Cuba. She told us that she'll be back next week with others to help.
BELOW: Ever faithful Lurker Bill and his daughter were with us this week.
There is something that I keep forgetting to mention. In addition to the numerous honks, waves and cheers that we get (3D-Joy rough counted over 800 - We need to find something constructive for 3D to do while FReeping), over the last several months we have drivers snap a quick salute when passing our flags. This week we had three salutes. In past weeks, we have at least one or two each Saturday.
I'm sure the moonbats don't get any salutes with their blood dance for the troops killed. They are praying that the number reaches 3000 before the election so they can once again use their milestone to protest. BELOW TOP: Moonbats signs. BELOW BOTTOM: Barking Waveman sings to the gods, hoping to change his name too, maybe, 'Singing Waveman'.
BELOW: Moonbat wondering where all those holes came from.
REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney
NEW TIME - 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney See Post 39 Here. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.
A special Thanks to BufordP for enhancing the original plain type directions.
The Archive of Olney FReeps is here or in the LINKS section of Trooprally's ABOUT Page.
Great Job Mr T. But, again I didn't expect anything less.
[Mrs T]
Thanks - See you when you get home.
[Mr] T
Yes, a big "thank you" to Joy for her faithfulness, even in the face of fiery car crashes. Joy, please be careful going home.
Also, I keep meaning to comment on CTS. She is one beautiful girl. I've thought it every time I see her pictures, just never said it. It's okay for compliments to come from an old grandma isn't it?
Great work. Thanks.
Great work! Thank you all for being out there all of these months. Sorry you have to stand across from these cretins week after week...
bttt
Good one Doc. Looking forward when you can join us again.
[Mr] T
You all missed a good Saturday last week.
There is a new mall in Winchester, VA called Apple Blossom Mall. We have a celebrity in our midst. Didn't know AB is a rich land manager. :-))
[Mr] T
Great job everyone. It's nice to see Lurker Bill and his daughter out together. They take a nice picture. Hopefully, it will stay dry on Friday night & Saturday for you.
Mrs. Trooprally, was 3D Joy the one who made the earrings for the 'Support the Troops Rally'?
Wonderful, as usual! You guys are the greatest!
