The President had a very busy Saturday attending a rally and visiting the troops, he also rang St. Louis Cardinals' owner Bill DeWitt to congratulate him on his team's five-game win over the Detroit Tigers in the 2006 World Series and also participated in a video teleconference between the White House and Baghdad, talking with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki
As is there normal practice the President and the first lady attended church on Sunday.
Today the President attended 2 rallies one in Georgia and one in Texas returning this evening to the White House.
Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld met with Mexican Navy Secretary Admiral Marco and Antonio Peyrot Turkish Minister of National Defense Vecdi Gonul at the Pentagon.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
It might be a little difficult finding a husband who could measure up to that Dad. :o) But I too, had hoped for a WH wedding - who knows? We still have time. :o)
AMEN to that. I hope they realize how much we care for them - how proud we are.
Why, guess we do still have time! I can't help but think that he...and Laura...will be darn glad when this nightmare ends. God bless them!
I can imagine how he might intimidate any young man who wants to get serious with his daughters! LOL! Even without trying to!
Our Pres. is absolutely at his best out among real people (rather than the nattering nabob worthless do-nothings of the Wash. press corps). He loves them and they love him, and it shows.
Hey Snugs,
Thanks a bunch! Hope things are well with you.

Karl is grinning like the cat that just ate the canary! Maybe he's thinking about election day.
Now is time for some White House ghost stories, bwahahahahaha!
First a question
What ghost did Sen. John Kerry see on Election night 2004?
Why, the ghost of a chance of winning! HEE! HEE!
Happy Halloween!
I always think it's weird.....
(And THANK you, Karl for that grin. It gives me great confidence about next week. :)
Ohiooooooooooo! :o)
The MSM is doing all they can to push a Dem victory. Article after article disguised as "news" supposedly just commenting on the races is actually propaganda in favor of Democrats. Our local paper in this small town prints AP "stories" because they have no writers of their own. Here is one in todays paper "(AP) - - This time Democrats are favored to sweep Republicans from power in the House after a dozen years of GOP rule". This is propaganda and wishful thinking. Favored by who? They don't say. This article is typical. The article goes on for six columns with selective pro Democrat quotes by voters keeping the unmistakable slant that Democrats are the good guys and Republicans are the bad guys.
We, the voters will decide. Don't let them get you down!
I honestly have never heard of Mexico having a Navy.
It's nice to see the photos. Seems they have a problem with flies over there. It's so nice they have actual mattresses to sleep on.
