Send it out to the RNC, local FReeper's who are involved in the specific campaigns, send to Rush, yada, yada, yada. Look at it this way, if the Dims are put on the defensive, and they denounce Kerry and what he said, that would mean they have to defend the troops and the mission in Iraq. Right now, the Dims major position (all they have really) is their OPPOSITION to Iraq, so in effect, they would be contradicting themselves, lol. Catch 22.

Yes, the pressure for an apology should be non-stop. Of course, when people like Kerry say what they mean, and actually show others what is in their mind, they then tend to hide.
I have seen it in my own life, here on FR, and on the national stage.

you are preaching to the choir here...
At the institution I teach at we have a lot of military students from a nearby base, plus we ofer telecommuting classes for the guys on base..
While some libs treat these men with the respect the deserve others simply cannot hide their disdain for all things military. They truly believe that every man or woman in uniform is their intellectual inferior. They openly insult the U.S. military every chance they get, even in the classroom in front of these guys. I really don't know how the guys put up with it....
However, in my classroom you would be amazed at how easy it is to tell military from non-military students. Granted, these young folks may be just a couple years older than their non-military peers, but they are a full decade wiser and more mature than your average 20 year old college kid.
I'll take the military kids in my classroom any day of the week. They are serious, motivated individuals. And yes John Kerry, the servicemen and women I teach generally score higher on exams and assignments. Of course not all get "A"'s, but I'd still put the vast majority of the military students I get in the top quarter or top third of each class I teach.
I probably should breakdown my gradebooks for the past few semesters just to illustrate the point..
Simply put, these are not "stupid" young men and women by any stretch of the imagination. To even suggest such a thing is frankly disgusting and an insult to every young man who is defending our freedom this evening.

They will call a Black American that has independent thinking Aunt Jemima (Condoleeza Rice).
They will call a Black American that has independent thinking a house slave (Colin Powell)
They will call someone who is gay a pedophile and pervert (Foley).
I could go on. Libs would their own mother under the wheels of an Amtrak if it meant holding on to power.
