Thank You, John Kerry ( Joseph Farah Urges Americans To Vote To Defeat Democrats Alert)
Worldnetdaily.com ^ | 11/01/2006 | Joseph Farah

Thank you, John Kerry, for reminding me and the rest of America what an evil alternative you and your party represent for this country.

I take a backseat to no one in my disgust for the failure of this president and the Republican Party in addressing some of the critical issues facing America – border security, controlled immigration, government spending, etc.

So disenchanted was I – and I'm sure I speak for millions of other Americans – that I have been less than enthusiastic about next Tuesday's election.

I asked myself:

Does it really make a difference which party governs?

Are the Republicans capable of operating within the defined constitutional limits of our republic?

Do we really have any choice in our two-party system?

While I still have grave doubts the Republicans will ever get their act together, I'm looking forward to voting next week – if, for no other reason, than to let the whole world know Americans reject John Kerry and his party that represents surrender and contempt for the U.S. military.

As I write this column, Kerry, still the titular head of the Democratic Party, is trying to spin his offensive remarks about our fighting men in Iraq.

But you heard him with your own ears. You saw him with your own eyes. No matter what he says today, you know in your hearts that he wasn't criticizing President Bush, he was demonstrating, once again, his lifelong loathing of the American soldier.

It's the very reason we know Kerry. It's the very reason we met him in 1972. It's the very reason he gained national attention. It's the very reason he was able to woo Massachusetts voters to send him to Congress. It's the very reason he was able to persuade Democratic voters to make him their presidential candidate in 2004.

He's not going to change – and neither is his party, any time soon.

What you see is what you get.

So, as for me, I will go to the polls Tuesday with a little more enthusiasm – a little more motivation – than I had last week.

I will vote to ensure the white-flag wavers don't assume power just because of Republican ineptitude.

All across the nation voters will have choices to make. I'm not advocating voting Republican across the board. Be smart. Be selective. Vote your conscience. But do express your contempt for John Kerry's party.

Around the world, our enemies are watching this election. They are eagerly awaiting a repudiation of those who have pursued them in Iraq and Afghanistan and right here in the U.S. They are hoping John Kerry's party will be swept into power and hand them the victory they could never win on the battlefield against American soldiers.

Don't give them that satisfaction. Don't hand them that victory.

Get angry about what you heard from John Kerry. Let it sink in and fester. And take your revenge the only way we can next Tuesday. Defeat Democrats running for Congress who have embraced him as their leader.

It won't solve all our problems. It won't ensure America gets its political priorities straight. But it will be a big step in the direction of defeating soundly an evil ideology in our midst here at home.

It will make us feel better.

It will make us more secure.

And, who knows, maybe it might lead to more political competition in the future that truly represents the American people and our own national security interests.

Say no to John Kerry. Write his political epitaph. Defeat the Democrats. Support our troops!

I do agree with the need to vote selectively. Go and vote for conservatives and patriots. Reject Tom Kean and above all - work to defeat John Kerry and the Democrats. They are the party that loathes the American soldier and wants to run up the white flag. As compromised as the Republicans are in some respects - the Democrats are far worse.

Right...

Farah changed his mind because of what Kerry recently said...

Has Farah been blind, deaf and dumb the rest of the year?

I think a lot of people who support the GOP feel like the party hasn't gotten its act together on the issues we care about. And then along comes Kerry to give them a cold shower of reality. Letting them back into power would be unthinkable.

No, Tom Kean needs to be elected. He may not be the ideal candidate but he won't be voting to make "Dirty Harry" the majority leader in the Senate as his opponent will. The Republicans need to take this seat away from the Democrats.

One question...are the American people, in general, capable of comprehending that what John F'n said represents what most dems believe? Could it really have an effect on this election?

We agree to disagree. I will not vote for a liberal, regardless of party label, in my lifetime. The libs on both sides of the partisan divide radiate confusion, weakness and defeatism.

I disagree with you on the NJ Senate race. The issue there is not politics, it's ethics. You should never ever vote for, or fail to vote against an unethical person. A vote FOR ethics is always a vote for conservative values.

As for the GOP. Every two years during the months of October and November the GOP does a very good job of explaining why a conservative political philosophy makes sense. The problem is that as soon as the election is over, the GOP can't seem to put that conservative political philosophy into action. Results matter, and I think conservatives are right to be angered at the lack of progress on conservative issues under the GOP's tenure. The GOP currently controls both Houses of Congress, the Presidency, most legislatures and most governorships. Not to mention the fact that most Supreme court Justices were appointed by Republican Presidents.

I agree with you in that people should vote selectively and should support both conservatives and Patriots. Those individuals are not always the ones with the "R" next to their name.

As for Sen. Kerry, I think he just did a good job of shooting himself and Democratic party in the foot. I can't say I'm surprised. Elitist snobs often make comments that are both elitist and snobbish.

Don't reject Tom Kean! If for some crazy reason we lose Missouri we would like to pick up a replacement seat. Vote straight ticket unless your in Foley's district or Tom Delay's.

We can have Steele. As for a RINO? We have too many already.

The RINOs are an endangered species. They will probably be replaced with liberal Democrats. This will leave the GOP more conservative.

I have no love loss for Rino Kean but its not like he's a RINO from Texas or Georgia where you would expect a real conservative. He's from a blue state where RINO's are expected. Why just give a seat to the Dems?

If Snowe, Chafee and Kean vote for our side 65% of the time, and their from blue states, its better than a dem who votes 0% of the time.

In my opinion if we have a chance to get any R from the west coast or the north east we should do what we can to get them elected. Its not like its the Republican primary and the choice is a conservative Republican vs. a RINO. Its a communist bent on impeachment and America losing in Iraq vs. a guy who will be loyal a decent percent of the time.

The point is the old eastern establishment - Rockefeller Wing Republicans have never forgiven conservatives for their takeover of the Republican Party. I hasten to add that despite their increasingly liberal votes on key issues, it hasn't prevented the Democrats from going after them. The demographics in Northern districts are not favorable to conservatives. As it is in many Northern States, the GOP is on life support. In our lifetime, I don't think we'll see a conservative Republican elected to the U.S Senate from the Northeast and California. There are just too many Democrats there to preclude an electoral breakthrough.

Agree to disagree however I think a conservative can win in Washington State or Oregon.
