Shame on Him John Kerry picked the wrong people to insult.

BY RONALD R. GRIFFIN Friday, November 3, 2006 12:01 a.m. EST

I missed the joke. You must forgive me, for there just is not a lot of room in my life for even good jokes--and there is absolutely no room for "botched jokes"--when the subject of the joke is my son who was killed in Iraq. I know exactly what came out of Sen. John Kerry's mouth, and in those words there is no interpretation required. His attempt to convince us--and, I believe, to convince himself that that there was really a botched joke buried deep within his insult is in fact a reaffirmation of his ever-present condescending nature. He actually believes that we are stupid enough to agree with him and start laughing simply because he said it was a joke. Mr. Kerry said exactly what he meant and meant exactly what he said. In those words Mr. Kerry did in fact wash completely away the facade of his support of our magnificent troops and revealed for all to see his true colors.

Reid said he was inspired to write this letter because “The Republicans are trying to make a big issue out of Kerry’s advice to students. His intent was to urge students to do well in school so they wouldn’t flunk out, lose their student deferments and get shipped to Iraq. He was just trying to use this unpleasant reality to help motivate them to study hard.”

I am stunned. Apart from everything else, apart from his dedication to Communist ideology, Harry Reid occupies a high position in our government, yet he still lives so far back in the past that he thinks there's a DRAFT, and that students who flunk out will lose their STUDENT DEFERMENTS?

These guys really do live in another world. Probably this reflects some acid dream of the days of draft dodging, hippy drug taking, and treasonous betrayal of our country.

Kerry's '72 Army comments mirror latest........Associated Press ^ | Nov. 02, 2006 | JOHN SOLOMON .......... During a Vietnam-era run for Congress three decades ago, John Kerry said he opposed a volunteer Army because it would be dominated by the underprivileged, be less accountable and be more prone to "the perpetuation of war crimes."

BTW Ms. Dowd if you are reading this, using your criteria this gentleman has "absolute moral authority" on the subject of Kerry's "botched joke" and thusly you have to submit to his views on the matter. I hope your next column will reflect this man's views to the letter.

We breathlessly await your stirring words about this man and his fallen soldier son and how Kerry insulted both.

Shame on Him...

This only works on human beings with a sense of shame and decency, which necessarily excludes John Kerry and many of the democrats like him.

It seems that even dingy harry is not buying sKerry's lame excuse that this was just a "botched" joke about our President.

I know it's satire but that cut a little close to the knuckle. Just a little too believable. IMHO.

Did anyone here see Tom DeLay on Hannity & Colmes Wednesday? Hubby and I had taped the show and watched part of it last night. DeLay quoted words said by Kerry at a press conference he gave after the infamous speech. Kerry's words (as told by DeLay) left absolutely no question about his meaning which was to insult our troops. The trouble is neither my husband or myself can remember now exactly what he said.

Does anyone else here know? If that text could be put out there none of the MSM or any other could say he was making a botched joke. This is driving me nuts - why did I not write it down!

Thanks

What the US Army recruiting poster under "President" Kerry would look like:

Our brave warriors n Irak respond to Jon Carry"

Kerry is no different re his hatred of a strong America and our warriors than 99.9% of the rats in congress. Every rat running for election should have to face a copy of this banner everytime they show their treasonous faces. Pelosi, Murtha, Clintoon, Boxer, Kennedy, Durbin, Levin, Rangle, Reid and other rats in congress hate our military and a strong America. Just look at their voting records the past two years as President Bush pointed out this week.

Kerry is shown leading his fellow hate America and our military Rats to their final destination in American Politics:

(John Kerry picked the wrong people to insult.)

I can't help but feel the real shame is on us, the American voters. We continue to let our troops, our heritage and our nation down by sending the dreggs of our society to represent us at the highest levels and portray our image and soul around the globe.

My GOD- how low have we slipped when we elect murderers, admitted war criminals and traitors to the highest body in our government?

SHAME ON US!

Don't know about the rest but I have a White Feather and a formal Social Calling card for him and Murtha. Doubt either even know what it means (Craven Coward) though.

I don't doubt how they voted - I just hope their vote gets counted.

I completely agree. I am concerned that some freepers will go around citing it as if it were true, and then end up looking like fools.
