This election is indeed about George W. Bush and the Congressional majoritys insistence on protecting him from the consequences of his mistakes and misdeeds. Mr. Bush lost the popular vote in 2000 and proceeded to govern as if he had an enormous mandate. After he actually beat his opponent in 2004, he announced he now had real political capital and intended to spend it. We have seen the results. It is frightening to contemplate the new excesses he could concoct if he woke up next Wednesday and found that his party had maintained its hold on the House and Senate.

I hope they are perfectly terrified when they wake up on Wednesday morning to a Republican Senate and House. They richly deserve it.
Once again there is absolutely no difference between the NYT and the Democratic Party. Absolutely none.
Is there any wonder why? :)
I'm glad they're not endorsing any Republicans because any Republican endorsed by the Times must be a RINO or a super-safe incumbent that the Times endorsed just to look bipartisan.
Wish list for new excesses for Bush to concoct:
No. 1: Pinch being frogmarched out of his office in handcuffs.
More leftist spewings from second-rate fish wrap. I will rejoice on the day this dirty rag goes belly-up. Perhaps George Soros will buy the Slimes and carry on the "noble tradition" of the "grey lady" and supporting the DNC and CP-USA.
Wow...The New York Times opines that Bush "actually beat his opponent in 2004" despite the bitterly controversial results. I'm sure that acknowledgment represents a simple oversight, but it's still some progress.
No bias in this editorial. Bwahahahahaha.
My disgust for this fishwrap has grown exponentially over the last 25 years. I gave birth to outright hatred a couple of years ago. Emotionally, I'm out of headroom.
After the national security leaks that the Times has been directly responsible for in the last year or so, I'd thank them for endorsing the other guy and take their opposition as a badge of honor.
"That rag is not even good enough to line my cat's litter box with."
Don't even think about it. Your cat would be offended.
I would give everyone elses left nut to see that rag go under.
THERE is the difference. They need the DNC account to survive as a New York marketing firm.
"I would give everyone elses left nut to see that rag go under."
LOL! Good thing you are giving everyone else's nuts up rather than your own, in particular as they are the "left" ones. Good thing to get rid of, leftist nuts.
