Think how I feel, I've got to vote for Snowe tomorrow.

Well, I've got to vote for that RINO Arnold. But I am reconciled to it, because I know that he is a Republican, and he is about as conservative as we can hope for here in CA. I also get to vote for Tom McClintock, who has a chance for Lt. Gov., and for whom Arnold has been helpful.

Chafee in RI being the least bit Republican is a veritable profile in courage. DeWine is from a nominally Red state, and he has no excuse for his perfidious RINOism.

but the Republican machine backed Specter the Defector.

"The reality is but the Republican machine backed Specter the WINNER (and very different than Santorum, the loser). "

But wasn't Toomey a fairly popular PA state legislator, and like, majority leader?

Think how I feel, I've got to vote for Snowe tomorrow. I believe she voted for Roberts and Alito. Not sure about Chaffee."

That's right, Sen. Snowe voted to confirm Justice Roberts and Justice Alito.

Sen. Chafee voted to confirm Roberts, but voted No for Alito.

I don't think there's anything wrong with venting about how much RINO's have hurt this party and nation. But we are in a war, and we've got to stomach the likes of Chaffee and Kean and Snowe and Dewine if we are to win it.
And to all the conservatives out there who are thinking about staying home, wake up. I wish Justice Stevens well but it is very likely that a Supreme Court vacancy will come next year. We've got Alito, Roberts, Scalia and Thomas. Okay, one more conservative makes it a majority. And 55 GOP senators means that that the democrats have 45. We'd need to knock off 6 to break a Shummer, Kennedy, Kerry filibuster.

I still believe he would allow for an up or down vote. With a vacancy coming next year, the President's nominee is likely to face a filibuster.

You must have forgotten that the POS Chafee voted against Alito. Liberals like Chafee damage the Republican party they don't help it.

We've got to find a way to knock down the Democratsfrom 45 to 39 senators on the issue of a filibuster. IF Chaffee loses it makes it more difficult to do this.

Who cares of Chafee.

When it comes to which party hands out the committee chairmanships, I do...other than that, I couldn't give a fig less for L.C.

Frankly if Snowe, Chafee, Collins and Dewine were given dictator powers, the country would have been better off now and also in anytime in the past.

You would have dignity, intelligence, low taxes and low spending, great judges, etc.

Frankly, I'm getting pretty tired of hearing rinos suck and no one can point to hardly anything they do that is wrong.

Well, I think Snowe is against tax cuts. The Gang of 14 included rinos. Immigration reform is being held up in the Senate. But right now the only thing we should be focused on is victory. Next week I'll worry about the rino's.

Stop it! My sides are sore from laughing. That was definitely the funniest post of the night.

Still can't name what about the rinos you don't like.

I can name at least one thing I don't like about the conservatives. They seem to think they can jam their ideas down peoples' throats and they will swallow whether they like it or not.

Fact is, that is not the way democracy works. You actually have to convince people to vote for you and the conservatives have not made their case to many people.

We had the 50/50 situation before, yet he did not switch party. And it's not like the Dims didn't try hard to persuade him. I think he likes to be called 'a different kind of Republican'.

Everyone is against tax cuts to one degree or another. In other words, no one believes in zero taxes. If snowe were dictator, taxes would be about where they are now only spending would be less.

The gang of 14 was a brilliant move that got almost every qualified judge confirmed.

Immigration reform was held up gy the democrats. If the rinos were dictators, the border would be well controlled with a viable guest worker program, amnesty for many illegals who have been here a long time (similar to that Rino Ronald Reagan) and that would be that.

Rinos, like you and other liberals, are against most all conservative values. They vote against conservative judges, like Chafee voted against Alito. They vote against securing our borders, a Rino specialty. They vote for profligate spending. They are liberals who have infiltrated the Republican Party to advance their liberal agenda. Kind of like a liberal getting on a conservative internet forum and then bad-mouthing conservatives. Are you sure you don't understand all this?

He'll do it at 50-50 if it gets him perks from the termites. Believe me, he has no honor. He has already said he would switch.

She did run against Lincoln Almond a couple of times. I don't know if she ran against Carcieri.

If Chafee was seriously considering that, he would have done it a long time ago.
