Voting machines are down in PA (Vanity)
November 7, 2006 | Kaslin

A friend I chat with in a political room just told me that most of the voting machines are down in Pennsylvania. Did anyone hear about this?

Jeez, all the morons who screamed over a few hanging chads are going to saddle us with a more "sophisticated" counting sistem that is undertested, underperforms, fails to come through and will allow the Dems to sue us into oblivion if we win!

Yep, but don't worry. It is only in Democratic districts. Rove you munificent bastard!

Don't listen to any rumors, hearsay or exit polls. You are going to hear all sorts of incredible nonsense today, most of it from TV talking heads. It is all just noise.

This could be someone trying to convince people to stay home.

About an hour ago, this was discussed on Quinn's program. Problems with the voting machines were reported in Washington County.

I voted at 7:15am and had no problem. I stood in line for about 15 minutes as turnout was very heavy. Although my precinct is about evenly divided, Republican registered voters were outnumbering Dems by 2 to 1.

Even if this was true or not .. I'd stay in line till they were working again

NOTHING would have keep me from voting

Well duh, Democrats don't vote until tomorrow.

Didn't everyone see the announcement:

"Due to technical issues with voting machines this year, all voters take heed. Voting will be split into two days this year. Republicans should come to the polls as scheduled on Tuesday; all Democrats will report to the polls on Wednesday"

I voted in PA this morning. The line was a little longer than usual, but I think it's because they went from a punch card system, to a color-in-the-dot paper system and it was taking people longer to do, and it was different than previous years.

I was voter #33 around 7:30 AM.

There really was only one "machine" and that was a scanner where you inserted your ballot after you voted. The poll worker standing at it said to another voter that the machine was not actually counting votes, but I don't know if that was true or not.

I just heard the voting machines in PA have started walking around and eating people!

...some clutzy demoscrap tripped over the main plug and is sitting there in the dark (should be used to it) and b*tching about GOP voter suppression while sipping her Starbucks and getting crumbs all over her list of illegal aliens to "let slide"

Would this be a good day to go to the ATM? Now that we know who they are...

Diebold is now transferring funds from Democrats accounts and depositing if into Republican accounts
