First, I would like to request that all believing Freeper's be in prayer for a fellow church member of mine. Her 18 mo old son passed away last night after choking on some food. "Jay J", as we all called him, passed away at First Health of the Carolinas last night. Misty, his mom, is a believer and our Pastor, who was with the family last night at the hospital, tearfully testified to us this morning that as Jay J took his last breaths, she held him while singing & praising God for His goodness. She is a woman of great faith but she is also human and will need all of the comfort she can get. Misty and her husband (he's not saved) will be needing Jesus' peace more than anything at this time.
Second, my son's good friend, Adam, was critucally injured in a car accident earlier this week. Someone ran a stop sign and he hit them totalling his truck. His story can be found here along with pics of the wreck. The details are a little off in the newspaper with regards to the hospital.

He was airlifted to and is fighting for his life at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. He broke both arms, his neck, his wrists, his femurs (both), his jaw, his ribs, and he has head trauma. CAT scans and MRIs indicate he has brain damage although the extent of it is not known. He has not been responsive and is in a coma according to the last update on his condition. Please pray for him. Adam and his girlfriend, Crystal, were to be married in February and she is having a hard time coping with this. Please remember her in your prayers as well as his mother and father.
I appreciate all of you who take the time to pray for others.
If anyone has a prayer list "ping list" could you please add this? Thank you.
Prayers for both families are offered.

Prayers for both, may he recover fully and may she find peace.
Prayers up for both of these families.
Sadly praying for both families.
May the baby rest in peace, prayers for the family. Prayers also for the victim of the car accident, and may a full and speedy recovery be forthcoming.
We do not always understand why pain and suffering must occur, but we are confident that You are sovereign and that You are the God of love. We pray for Misty and her husband, that Your peace and comfort would surround them as they mourn the loss of their precious son. May Your angels hover over them and may Your people surround them and hold them up during this tremendous trial.
We ask You also to restore Adam to complete health. Father, we confess that nothing is too difficult for You and we acknowledge that You are able to knit this broken body back together. Please give Adam the will to live and to be restored as You provide his fiancee with the courage to stand by him and prevail over this adversity. We confess that You will bring good somehow out of these difficult, heartbreaking situations, Father, and we do praise You for Your faithful responses to these prayers. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Prayers up for both families.
Prayers
Prayers for both families being said.
My prayers are with all - but especially for the toddler's bereaved father who will be surrounded by people trying to comfort the family but who will self-righteously remind him (and his wife) that he is "not saved"
People like this have NO IDEA of the collateral damage their "piety" causes to the grieving. But I suspect they will find out in the long run.
Prayers are needed, please. Thank you.
Prayers sent.
AMEN!
Amen Faith. Thank you ALL for your prayers. If you keep a daily prayer list (I do) please put these families and Adam on them.
