Windy & Cold FReep: Week 49 - Olney,MD, 12-02-06: Operation Infinite FReep
Dec. 05,2006 | Trooprally

Posted on 12/05/2006 5:35:58 PM PST by trooprally

It was a cold and windy day. Usually Saturdays are warmer than the Friday night Walter Reed FReep, but not today.

We were definitely out numbered by the moonbats, them: 9, us: 4. Those of us in attendance include Cindy_True_Supporter (CTS), Fraxinus, Lurker Bill, (aka Bill from MD on Walter Reed AARs) and myself.

[Mrs] T was still not feeling well, but staying on top of her cold. She didn't want the cold to get the better of her as preparations for the FReeper Christmas Party draws near. We have well over 30 FReepers, lurkers and honored guests coming.

And since [Mrs] T was not there, I took over taking the pics. And it looks like it. I didn't know how to adjust the camera for the bright sun. Actually, I didn't know the sun would make a difference. Just thought, alright, nice sunny day for taking pics. At least that is the case for the old 'film' cameras I'm used to using. The digital cameras are just tooooo sensitive!! But one gets the "picture".

BELOW LEFT: Lurker Bill and CTS setting up. BELOW RIGHT: Fraxinus with Lurker Bill and CTS in back ground.

BELOW TOP: CTS, Fraxinus and Lurker Bill manning our corner. BELOW BOTTOM: CTS exposing the Quaker's hypocrisy.

The moonbats arrived at various times which keep me busy taking pics. The last one arrived just in time to leave. I was busy waving to our passing supporters and didn't see them coming. I just happen to look over and see the additional moonbats.

BELOW: First there were only four.

BELOW: Then there wer 6.

BELOW: Then there were 7.

BELOW: And then there were 8 and I thought they were done.

BELOW: But NOOOOOO. The 9th showed up for the last ten minutes of their protest.

REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney
NEW TIME - 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM

As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

RE: Olney FReep -

If you live in northern VA and want a short cut to Olney See Post 39 Here. It's an easy 20 minute drive from the American Legion Bridge.

A special Thanks to BufordP for enhancing the original plain type directions.

The Archive of Olney FReeps is here or in the LINKS section of Trooprally's ABOUT Page.

Another DC Chapter ping for the Saturday Olney Support Our Troops Freep Report #49!

Mr and Mrs. Trooprally are the anchors of (and report-writers for) this Freep - please join them any (or every) Saturday for their daytime rally in beautiful "downtown" Olney.

It was good seeing our side there. I was at about mile 3.8 of my 8 mile run, up to Olney and back home, when I got to the intersection and breifly said hi to the Freepers there. I ran a little farther to my turn-around point, turned around, and went by the moonbat side. I stopped and politely asked the old biddy holding the "Was is not the Answer" sign if she was for Hitler. I told her that if we didn't get involved in WWII we could be occupied by Nazis now and the Jews all exterminated. In typical non-thinking liberal style she had no answer. I told her that I thought she had a poor sign because sometimes war is the answer. She then simply said "I'm for peace."

They are in it because it makes themselves "feel good" being "for peace." When liberals are opposed they are all for violence, as has been demonstrated with Ann Coulter, etc.

BTTT and thanks for the great report.

I am sorry it was so cold...83 degrees here. It almost hit the record...84 in 1910 or something close to that.

Nights dip into the high 60's and we all come out in the morning to see who gave in and turned their heat on!

Thanks for the mega-ping.

I have to add that Cindy_True_Supporter and Lurker Bill (aka Bill from MD) are the other stalwarts of the Olney FReep. As at WR, L. Bill loves his spot and does a terrific one man show.

We thinks he comes out every night and marks his territory!! :-))

It was good meeting you finally in person last Saturday after so long just 'talking' on FR.

Thanks for stopping by the moonbats and giving them 'kind' words. We have it from good reliable, double source 'leakers' that they get a lot of obscene words from passing cars. So your words must have been a blessing in disguised.

When your projects are finished, we hope to see you some Saturdays.

Yea, yea - rub it in. With the cold coming upon us up here, you made a beeline back to Florida as soon as you could. :-))

But you'll miss the Chapter Christmas Party. We have surpassed last years attendees by 30%.

It was good meeting you too, MR. T. Great job of getting out there. Some day I'll slow down enough to do those things. Right now that looks to be about five years away...
